Exclamation Download & Install Problems

This thread was made to help troubleshoot any problems that may occur during the download process or the installation of Crowns of Power on to your computer.

Attached are screen shots of 2 errors that can be fixed by downloading the updated drivers from Microsoft. Links are provided on the CoP Downloads Page: http://www.crownsofpower.com/downloads.php

Please describe the problem you are having and provide links to screen shots if possible.

Default CoP_1.0.0 does not un or intsall

After downloading CoP version 1.0.0, Double clicking the .exe file to "run" the program does nothing., so the program does not reach the "install" stage.

nstalled cop under c:\games\crowns of power
When i press the "play" button it gives the following error :
anyone got a clue why its not working?


System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: Exe could not be started because the configuration is wrong next to eachother. Check the log exe for more info.

I got windows Vista , 3.16 intel dual core and a 8800 gts geforce vc-card. the whole installation went perfect exept for when i press the "play" button it gives the error above

April,

Can you try deleting that file and then downloading it again from scratch. We have updated the download link and this may fix your problem.

intall went fine but when trying to launch i keep getting 'error connecting to patch server'.
what can i do?

getting that same error and just uninstalled and installed back... still doesnt work :/

yup thats the exact error. installing new .NET right now lets see if that fixes the issue
