View Full Version : Correcting Outwar Server Economies

something should be done about outwar point economies, admins should go over with a few players from each server to set up prices for items that can be sold directly from your crew vault to outwar in exchange for points. this would help raise prices on items, because they would worth more if you were to sell them to the crew. You should only be able to do 2-3 items a week, and to stop people from abusing multi crews to sell back items, each item that drops from a raid should contain a player bound type status on it which could be [crew sellable] or something of that sort... and once its awarded it will lose that trait meaning it won't be able to be sold.

in a sense this will help things, hopefully making items more valuable.

(points back from ungemming items, should be raised) since fully gemmed items on servers sell cheaper than the cost of gemming, virtually killing the price of items...

if admins spent time looking into why the economies get so messed up and not giving a crap about them other than wanting to make all the money they can off the treasury, and have to raise costs of potions making basically furies worth more than a plate of the wild, sabatons of the light, and crests of the arms all on rancid...
theres tons of other items that they cost more than, i don't feel like spending an hour to write them out though

Sorry if this sounds rude by why would making items sellable to crews make the price of them go up? Unless im missing an obvious reason

not sellable to crews, items are already sellable, basically, make it so you can trade in the items for points.... they would have to be in your crew vault, and be raided in that crew to trade in...

oo right i thought you meant like sell those items to other crews...
you are talking about just outwar buying the items off you? would be a way to get rid of the shit items that no one needs any more, but should be only the smaller items that no one needs and mayb the items there are hundreds of in the treasury that none buy.

dont think the value of what outwar pay you should be too much thou other wise they might aswell delete the items they drop and up the points noob gods drop (would be silly) cos we all know its just multi crews that raid these gods now :|

the sense would be, to sell items, a little over what they currently cost on treasury to help make items value go up... and no one would sell noob gods, unless tahts all they had, because you get a certain amount of points depending on how good / rare the item is.

and like i said, the only items that could be sold this way, would be ones raiding in that crew, once awarded from that crew they lose the status of being able to sell them.

and you can only do a certain amount of item selling too...

I like the idea. Reminds me of one of the best ideas I ever saw in OW about a "God crusher", which would allow you to scrap gods for "special" points that you can use only in the Treasury (or something in those lines).

Low crews do actually try for ow gods.
By increasing the points from the raid you are creating more competition by multi crews.
Why the heck would you just not increase the point drops?

The items are items, not points. Really, your idea is dumb. Like Paris Hilton Dumb.

You know what would help economy?
Lower the cost of points.
Put an ip based limit on how many characters can be joined to a raid. Say 5 or 10,(I know a proxy prog can get by this).
Put a max price for all items on treasury. Basically create a ceiling that can not be gone over and all other items will fall into their relative price point.
Lower the crazy tiered gemming cost ladder and ridiculously pathetic ungemming "reward"

lowering price of points wouldn't help anything, and outwar wouldn't do that, you have to think with ur brain and stop being an idiot... if they do this system i've implied, it will make it so items are wroth more if you raided them, so if ur going to sell them, you will sell for more...
