Dragon Ball Evolution

Who saw it? i went in ready to make fun of it but i would actually recomend it. it wasnt too bad. unless you went in expecting a lot then it wouldve been hoendous to you.

Anyway it was alright, if you expected it to follow the anime your going to be disappointed, events occur differently and the plot of it kinda sucked, but it was a decent movie for a nice revival of an amazing show, and the special effects were not to bad.

I just dont get how they can call it evolution...because in the cartoons they had space ships and flying cars and shit...so wouldnt that be more in the future than this movie...(Just going by what i saw in commercials lol might actually go see it just cuz its DBZ)

I liked the movie myself. But I think the problem people would have with this movie is that they expected it to be more like the manga, and the problem with that is dragonball itself is just way to unrealistic and would be way to hard to make a live action movie to be like the manga. Wat they needed to do is make the dragonball movie in CGI like the FF7:advent children movie.

DBZ: Evolution would have made tons more money if they stuck to what works. . .It would have been so much more cost productive to open up Microsoft Powerpoint, create a 2 hour slide show of the beginning of a fight (leaving open the opportunity for a 3 sequels finishing the fight).

Costs would be down and all the fanboys would be happy.

The acting was terrible everything was forced and nothing felt like it should be there
when theres explosions like films from the 1980s i really don't call that good effects
