Cross Server War Idea

I've been thinking since the game is truly about war, why not make a cross server event between players from other servers get to compete against each other.

Here's what i was thinking...

Sigil Vs Torax

Fabar Vs Zimbob

Rancid Tier1 Vs Rancid Tier2

The war doesn't necessarily have to include everyone but in fact lets you choose if you want to participate and charges each player 100 pts. Furthermore the war can be based on pts from exp stripped and amount of attacks made, the winning server in the end gets 200 pts to each player who participated and an extra amount to the top 10-20 who hit the most.

So yeah i was thinking about something like that could definetly make outwar fun and live up to its name, if players cant attk players from other servers for some reason, then maybe put mobs on each server in an attempt for each server to compete against who kills off the mobs first.

Any thoughts, criticism, and ideas are welcome .

I dunno about a cross server war, if anything they should put out a sign up thing and who ever signs up for it, there account is duplicated to a new war server.

They should perhaps put in regular wars before they even get to cross server wars.

I have to agree with XShockx, lets worry about making a war system that makes people want to go to war. Then. . .And only then. . .Let's worry about wars between servers.

Cross server wars have been talked about since torax was made. They never got added and i doubt they ever will.

I would love them to add a war section back in.

Maybe special war items that randomly are given to winning crew or points for the winning crew...something to get people from being raid *****s.

ya but no one ever wars on sigil , they might if we could test are might against a top crew on another sever.

I want regular crew wars back, they were really fun. And if the cross server war was to happen, don't charge points to sign up, it should be open to anyway. Mass chaos, I like it.

lol when was the last time we even got double pvp?...and we just got double exp recently...so i doubt any war ideas are going into their heads, its not outwar anymore its out-hugs.

wow old thread lol oO as i said in my post about a year ago cross server wars have always been talked about but just never been added and i doubt they ever will. This is why there is a choice for you to pick which server you want to be on.

They should do an idea simular to epic beat down, winner of that on each server goes into a small leauge with other winners :P Or make it like wow where level 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70s can choose to battle it out by signing up :D

I doubt this would ever happen but it would be fuuucking fun, id be tempted to buy an XP lock and pvp skills to do it xD (Yes thats right id buy points again outwar)

I completely agree, cross server anything is a really tough thing to make possible.

ofcourse not -_- you create a new table that holds the chracter id and the server id together creating a unique key, then you only have to read the character data out of the database of the server the character comes from -_-

Technically a cross server war would be a piece of cake to implement ;)

the only difference between a normal war and a cross server war is that you got multiple databases to read out data -_-.
and reading and manipulating data is one of the first things you learn when you program php ;)
