hmm this is gonna spoil cop or make it a little better in my opinion depends on new area stats also.

ive heard some massive sums of points of points going around and well i see myself out of this and the one's for gold dissapointing really

Resources can by bought anyways
Pauldrons fly around often enough
Guardian all lev 50s have on them or bps
hair formulas o.O
Vigor pots ....not so bad
Boots nearly everyone has

nothing here for me so thats why im dissapointed

(my opinion)

I was harsh on this in the initial thread but, having now seen the itinerary it does look fun. I still doubt I'll be buying anything but I'm happy you put stuff in for gold... I'm sure it will be a lot of fun! =)

I am not completely opposed to this auction, just kinda bums me out that it took me a long time to get my gear where it is now and now new players who have a bigger checking account will be able to become stronger than me with no actual in game work. Should be fun for them tho lol

The amount of items in the auction is not going to flood the game economy. As stated before as well, this auction is a once a year event. It is intended to be a fun treat for players.

peronally in my opinion nothing here is worth anything to me in the Gold part of the Auction as you can get most of the stuff with Gold anyways, besides the Jboots

Although it is nice to see an Auction held by the Dev's

Just to clarify this event is a live event, we will be auctioning off the items, not posting them on the market place. Someone asked a question implying it would be "running" for weeks. That is not true this event will last an hour or two at the most.

Hey just curious would it be possible to post a picture/link to each item with name/stats so those of us who may be interested can plan what we want?
Thanks

That is completely unfair. That's why I didn't buy points on double points day. Becuase 9 pm is 4 am in my country and I have work at 9 am. So I can't participate. The Auction should have lasted for 24 hours so that everyone could participate.

If we were going to run the auction over the course of weeks we would've just started it when we first announced it. It will be much more fun as a live event, we understand people have different hours etc but thats why we posted so far in advance so if players really wanted in on it they would figure out their own schedule.

so its gonna be every year hmmmmm maybe this time ill save gold and or points hmmm hope they do more items next year time to start saving too bad the bank doesnt have an investment thing for gold it would only work out for gold cuz thats an ingame item only if they did that with pts Rampid would lose a whole bunch of money it would be a cool way for the gold already well im off

well you guys may gave missed the auction (not like it matters, I doubt you would have beat jesse :p). but you are in the right time zone for all the pon raids.... those always happen while im sleeping or at work. Sometimes I get lucky on the weekend though and get a chance.

i gave up when someone paid 12000 points ($400) for an item! cannot compete with people with those sort of resorses!

Thumbs down for supporting the game. What a big meanie.

These are 12 items. TWELVE. It won't even effect game balance. It'll make Jesse and whoever else won items have a slightly easier time in game, but that's how the point system works.. It's not like you now can't play since twelve items were given away..

I would venture to say that less than 100 dollars in points will be in the event. Even if you wanted to be generous and say 300 dollars went into it, do you know what it costs to run this game?

just thought this was funny after the fact

Well, the point still stands however much Jesse paid won't put a dent in Rampids expenditure on CoP. The event wasn't fun for me, as I was asleep, but meh, at least one leeter person around I guess, even if it ain't me =P

I think it went pretty well to be honest - only downfall were people starting sieges on guild halls to cause people to be distracted and also the lag.

I think next time all pvp/dueles and sieges should be disabled aswell as using spells in say DC (since that wont affect people who are playing the game/doing quests ect) and do it there next time.

Also since its going to be quite awhile before the next one happens you could use that time to actually code a new zone purly just for the auctions/events with as little in the zone as can be no mobs no houses ect nothing which would cause lag and hold the events there.
