Battle Bar cleared after lag out

So I was in the middle of killing Chief Xin Dal in Helmstead and CoP gives me the "connection lost" symbol. So after a few seconds, I click quit in the menu, and restart the program. I apparently died, and spawned at the graveyard over by the crypt? Weird... and now my battle bar and shortcut bar thing on the side are empty. =[

Okay so after a few minutes of gameplay... everything i had set up came back...

my pet bar clears every time i relog or change zone for like week or more

That happens to me too, amge. I usually don't even realize it until I need to use them (rarely) and if I zone twice...I lose both spots.
