halloween WTF :P

11/1/07 - HUGE Diamond City Update:
Hope you are still enjoying the costume hunt! This week in Diamond City, look for special "pumpkin" mobs! Defeating these mobs gives you a chance to find special "Halloween Costumes" for your character! Some costumes are rarer than others! Can you collect them all?

Can you collect them all? Was there a point behind this?? I collected them all, and they all were useless? why didnt outwar add some kind of special recipe where you had to mix these potions and make some kind of super-pot?

Im just wondering...

I've still got, like, 80 or so pots. I wish they would of said the pots were practically useless, and at times a nuisance. =/

hmmm well actually I still laugh when I see the grim reaper appear...

maybe there should be something done:

when you use a pot you can enter the cementary where you can buy skill points using real points!

I had a few dozen, hoping they would hit a price increase in the future just due to people wanting to look different. . .But got rid of em all cause it wasn't worth it :-/.

I never bothered with that Halloween costumes thing because it really wasn't of any benefit. Only thing it did was kill time lol.

Yeah thats gotta be the worst thing outwars ever done. Im pretty sure they could have spent there time doing something a bit better than that. I got like 90 in my vault and there so worthless. sure thats like 4 years of costumes :)

i got a load of em before i knew what they did, i didnt cast any untill i could see what they all were and did... when i saw that they did nothing and all looked poor i didnt bother casting any and they all sit in a multi vault now

That may be true but, Greg's post and his apparent dedication seems promising; hopefully we'll be seeing completely original content in the future.

Yeah hopefully we see some. But you never know if outwar will deliver.. Ha i'd prefer original content to making my account into a ghost for 15 days thats 4 sure

I had about 100 then I just trashed them all since I didn't see a point in keeping them. At least I leveled ypsome of my multis during that time though.
