I found this extremely funny:
We posted a new crew upgrade item in the treasury. The item upgrades your current crew action log, to a search-able log. That's in the treasury now. Take a look.
Outwar...please don't do us any favors...charging for search? How about charging to trade? to login? And at an expensive rate? Since when did search become a perk.
If google did that they'd go broke. C'mon now don't add insult to injury, you are just insulting people's intelligence.

meh, its a more extensive search on the crew action log i think, its only 200 points, if you don't want it, stick with the old action log

So what, we decide what to charge for based on difficulty of development?
Fine, new content will cost points.
We charge based on what we decide to charge on. A lot of times it's convenience.

So your saying adding a search tool was a huge occupation of time to create? I would think that'd be one of the easist...

You obviously aren't reading what is being posted...
Someone said it's too expensive. I asked if that's because they think that the amount of work into something should determine price (ie. not a lot of work / search feature = low price). I then stated that if that was the only basis for price, we'd need to charge for content because it's one of the single biggest time takers.
