View Full Version : New Achievements, game functions, and other things

People could use a few more things to do.. so here's a few simple ideas mostly geared towards lvl50 players as were really short on things to do unlike the others (feel free to add your own)

Achievements:
- Kill 50 different lvl 50 players | Kill 100 different lvl50 players
- Kill 100 different murderous players
- Kill 100 different innocent players
- Kill 10 different players in 10 minutes
- Win 50 Duels | Win 100 Duels | etc (Why aren't duel wins/losses being recorded so we can see?)
- Clear Cloister Prime (like blackspawn)
- Collect 100 honor tokens | etc

Misc:
- CP and PoN could use some quests other then the 1 quest each has to actually get a key into the zone.
- Upgrade the Guild Hall resources items for us now that we can actually obtain them since iron weave has finally been implemented.. the items are junk as they are now, give em a boost they should be very good if not the best items in game.
- Still need more ranks for guilds
- Would like to be able to see levels of players in guild in the Guild GUI
- Would be nice to see the instant teleports to guild halls you told us about in beta put in game.
- More events, and some competitions would be nice too. People like killing, you should cater to these players more.. for those who wish to think they are the best pvper in game.. give them an avenue to prove it.
- I wouldn't mind seeing a kill stat list much as we see a exp stat list on the website. Ofcourse it should only count the kills from players +/- 5 lvls of you. Who's killed the most people in this game? Who are the top5, and top100? Theirs a fine line to adding game content and ruining the game with everyone wanting to kill.. easy solution to all that if you think its a problem is make each kill unique (different people) to be counted.

- Some sort of bounty system for gold, with gold payouts (as i posted about in beta) so the lvl40 guy who constantly gets hammered by a lvl50 has some small way to exact revenge. Realm wide manhunts based on payout instead of personal (drama) grudges would be very nice/fun.

- I still want a point/gold exchange vendor where players can post their gold/points and how much they are selling for and people can just buy them instantly without the need to barter/communicate/hassle others. A vendor of sorts that handled item trades would be nice as well. I feel sorry for those that live in a different country and theirs like 30 people on when they are playing.. who are they going to buy their runes/gear from if their waiting for someone to sell them live.

The way this game works right now its quite obvious the players are always going to be a step or two ahead of devopment, thats fine but what we need here is something -like- the things i've mentioned that give us other goals, and a continued wanting to play because theirs something else we haven't achieved yet, or just other FUN things to do. I'm not the biggest fan of pvp in game, but i think with alittle more structure alot more people could be.

I could post things like this all day, and after reading some of the crap i wrote this post is starting to seem like its jumping around too much with ideas that they themselves could be a whole post if i cared to elaborate on.. so i'll stop here though i could add alot more. Post your ideas, things you think would be nice to see added to game as big or small as this change may seem to be. While i don't neccesarily think all the things i've mentioned should be put in game just because i thought to write them down here, at the very least they will give some of you ideas of your own to post about for this discussion.

The one thing i'm quite sure we all agree on is this game is missing something, and thats not a knock on the game itself.. just missing something... something i can't quite put a finger on. While i wouldn't say any one thing i mentioned is this thing i'm looking to have added to game, i'd find it hard to believe someone hasn't thought of something that is.

What about the "McSneaky" achievements?

1. What about kill 100 players 20 lvls under you? Call it the "McSneaky"
2. Kill 10 afk players: "McSneaky 2"
3. Kill 50 players under half health: "McSnkeaky 3"
4. Run from anyone your lvl or above that fights back 100 times: 'McSneaky 4"
5. Be call an offensive name in /world by 50 different players. "McSneaky 5"
6. Kill 1 admin multiple times "McSneaky 6"
7. /flex an admin and get put in jail "McSneaky 7"
8. Gain 5+ lvls off equipment xp "McSneaky 8"
9. Start a guild with over 100 people "McSneaky 9"
10. Be l33t "McSneaky 10"


On serious note, I agree with nub. Anything that encourages PvP is cool. But would be cool to fix the bug that lets unguilded people not be killed.

You think everything that detrimental to you killing players is a bug. /who mcsneaky is a bug /loc is a bug. Not a bug, neither is ungilded = safe. And on another note, you've never killed an admin.

There already is kind of a bounty system. Of course it's manual but it usually gets paid, and if now, whatever. Just ask McSneaky, he's had a lot of bounties on him.

That trad...thing works too. I origionally didn't like it but since there's too many people playing now, it's hard to get anything done. People can still bid on items and after a certain time (if they win) they get the item regardless if they're on or not. You can still do manual trades but the tradeblock could clutter.

I'd like some more looks to stuff. Everybody looks the same and it gets old, quickly. And maybe have an event where some players can get a different look to them (but make it so the trouble makers can't get it or they'll ruin it in several ways).
