yes, i am sure your are wrong.
in fact, you are very wrong. Go read the "truly free server" thread on "Outwar Brainstorm" ... one of my lasts posts shows methods which can get u places without spending any money.

And believe me, a lot of top players have spend no money on this game.

I am a lvl 59 monster on Sigil.
Items:
Ergonomic BP
Zhulian boots
Zhulian belt
Laser Rifle
Bloodsoaked legplates
Grace
SR Visage
Eye of Corruptor
Essence of reckoning

Some of them have treasury augs in them, and the character is also fully upgraded.

I have always had the top or near-top items since i was lvl 30-40. Of course, the current top or near-top items at the time.

Almost 150k unglitched points passed thru my acc.

And, guess what, i spend absolutely no money on this game.
And i know most of the "top people", and i can assure u they have also spent nothing on ow, or they have spent a very small amount.

Now, before u argue with me again, try and have facts ready and be able to express yourself in a way that will prove your belief. Else, u will just look like a idiot.

2 years+.
Still, as i said, i had it going well since i was a low level.

edit: i don't really know when i started playin .. it might actually be less than 2 years .. i dunno for sure.

Who is he supposed to believe? The people who are the top who say they don't spend money, who can be verified by an Admin who can easily see who has spent what, OR you, who has nothing but assumptions?

I started a character with no idea on how to play, the tips & tricks, how to play "well", etc, and managed a 34 in around 3 weeks of occasional playing.
