Don't get excited, it's not THAT great. What about adding a point drop to the set raids? Let's face it, you can't do much on this game without points, and that severly hinders many people who's parents are smart enough to NOT give them a credit card.
It wouldn't have to be alot, say 0.1 points per Cobalt raid up to say 1 point per Desto. This way, those who just flat can't buy points have a way to at least get themselves started. Give me 5 points to start and I can build myself up, but give me 0 points, and it's a you know what.
Thanks.

I wouldn't mind that. I wouldn't be surprised if I see nubs busting butt all day raiding those just to get better. Those are the kind of people that I want to play with - the people who really put in the effort.

Think about it this way Hec, if someone were to do Desto 24 hours a day, the MOST points they could possibly get would be 288 points a day (figuring roughly 5 min respawn)...and I doubt anyone's gonna do that. This would be for the new people who just cannot get even 0.5 points to post on the TB that they have something for sell.
I've been trying to get started on Rancid, have a crew with about 20 accounts, but cannot generate a single point to save my butt. Have champ items, ost, brutes, etc. to sell, but have no points to post that they're for sell, so no one ever offers...

well i would do it as much as i could lol its not the pt issue i was concerned about more the multi issue. all those sets and items dropping i would have to just keep makin multis. if ow did this seriously i would make 2000 multis

have fun raiding them 24/7 then.. it'd be easier to get a job and just pay for the pts lol. so yeah, the low point things are very nice (y) great idea.
and whos is going to sit there raiding 24/7 exactly 5 mins after the other?

And do what with them, add them to your group of 20,000 multi's...oh yea, and you won't be able to put e/s/l/enf on them because you wanna do away with that too!

agreed makes the game much more fair to play

i can see both sides. the 20 raids per hour do help cut down the numbers of raids alot. but the 5 minute respawn is not that huge an issue with this, as you can easily move characters between the mobs that drop the pieces.
the points would be nice, and i don;t think anyone except hec (though doubtful, i don't think he knows how to raid for sets anymore) would create a million extra multis, although im sure quite a few people would create dozens more. I could see alot more multis when i think they are trying to get away from that

even with that if you went and got a job instead of raiding the game you could probably make more points :) im guessing its for the people who are too young (or unable i.e. h**) to work so they dont have the money to buy the points.

How about if those point drops are just putting the 1 point directly into the guild, thereby eliminating the reasoning for people to make a million multis, when there's no difference in point value if they kill something with 5 people or 25.

the points are not the only reason there will be more multis.......where are you going to put all the ele/noc/whatever you're raiding?
do you stop when your whole crew is geared? or do you say "our crew could use some more upgrades, let's do more set raids". Then you either sell the extra (if anyone will buy it sicne they are doing same thing) OR you create more multis to put the gear on

But isn't there still the level requirement for sets on multis. You'd have to dc each one of them to that level lol.

or give the crappy items (e.g. sash) to them and let them grow then when they reach the required level you give them the set.. then after a while you'll be putting them on daily :)
Wizzy

Ohz. I forgot about that o.o but it'd still take a super long time for them to grow to that level with those crappy items to then use the sets.

true.. but then again everything on outwar takes time.. so it could still happen :p and i still doubt that there will be mass sets produced because alot of people will get bored of raiding it for such little points and having to enter in the words from security image over and over would get pretty boring.

not really. may not be super fast, but doesn't take all that long ,and if use of programs is as common as everything i read in the forums, pretty quick to get the levels

I don't think people's attention spans are long enough to dc multis to higher levels to put sets on em just to get 1~5pts from each of the set raids.

i see quite a few people that are determined to not spend any money on this game....
maybe alot of pieces would be dropped, who knows? i just see people putting them on multis before dropping the pieces
