Ok heres how robby works he spawns in all areas of diamond city and stays in each area no more than 1 minute before he moves to another.
hes a spawn mob but with resist and high hp.

everytime you beat robby he possibly drops a mechanical piece
there are 9 pieces to collect all no trade

body
neck
feetx2
legsx2

once you have found all 9 pieces..gonna take a while!!

you can now assembe his brother Roddy the robot..
to assemble u mix all 9 pieces in cauldron....

now Roddy sits in your backpack waiting to be activated...

You can activate roddy at anytime after u have assembled him once activated for 30 minutes you
can purchase anything in the treasury at a 25% discount.

that isn't the point, who cares about how long it takes to purchase stuff, this is a 1 time use lol... maybe if it was tome skill for misc, it in a sense would be a little smarter... but that much work? just to get somethin that lasts for 30 min? its pointless man... just like the eggnog christmas quest it would be pointless.

still, this would be an idea just as bad as the christmas eggnog quest... no ones gonna want to waist their time with a quest just to get 25% off the treasury for a lil while, espically people who don't buy points, or have problems getting points....

You say he's a spawn mob, so presume you'd have to kill the mobs in the room he's in to get him to spawn. Better find that dude quick and hope for a quick spawn...

Idea seems too complicated for someone at outwar to code + will lose them too much money probably. We all know they don't like the idea of free points or discounts. It took them what, 3 years to add points to god drops?

That drop rate will probably be super low? lol. I'd just wait in one room until he comes to me and punch him :p

Meh. I don't really like it though - chasing a mob all around dc. I wouldn't be surprised if someone edits a DCAA to move about and scout it out.

This is something they'd probably want to do as a holiday quest.

I don't think it's a bad idea Hec, just may need to be tweaked a bit, maybe he goes somewhere new every hour instead of every minute. It'd be too hard to do if he moves every minute, by the time you found him, he'd be moving...almost impossible...especially if he's a spawn mob

so admins set it so whoever spawns it gets to kill it within 2 minutes if it isnt killed it respawns
