ROFL i don’t think he should be suspended I think he should be given a medal that’s the funniest sh*t ive seen in a long time LOL

But on a serious note how do u know the kid is disabled cause he’s in a wheel chair lol he might have a nan, granddad, mum or dad who has one so thought i'll pretend to be disabled to get a little sympathy on my side, people lie its that simple its been going on for years now

well if he is disabled I do feel sorry for him.

But by looking at the image with him in the wheelchair it only looks like his foot is in some type of cast...

and how did he steal the Crown of Kelvin in the 1st place.. shouldnt be giving out info to your account..

Also wtf would you cry about a Crown of Kelvin for?

from a different thread....

Outwar isnt the special olympics,

care to rethink your argument now??????

anyhow on topic, wtf??????? God i honestly think this makes my night. who cares about a crown of kelvin? and why would someone steal it? and how? and why did you allow this? and why does it matter? and can you prove it? and wow this just brings to mind so many questions, but hard to think when im crying from laughing so hard

Firestarter

lol, i bet u would care about a crown of kelvin if someone stole it from u. when i got hacked cause someone guessed my info i lost boots of invulnerability and some other gods, which at that time were decent. i know i was pissed about losing them. bet the kid doesn't have a sacred blade and a nice set, otherwise he wouldn't care for a kelvin. anyway, don't know if the story is true or not, but if it's not, i'll pretend to be a girl and webcam for items or points :D

medman

i guess if it was gemmed i would care a little, I'm sure ungemming the item would be worth more than the crown itself.

i understand losing good stuff(at the time), but even not having a blade (i know i don't have one) I have at least decent items, and I just can't understand why care about a crown these days. Maybe if it was a long time ago when it was worth something, then sure, but now???????

hmmm on FS topic, if there are any chicks (or guys that swing the wrong way) that wanna pay points or gods, i gots a webcam ;) lol

i am pretty sure thsi is on rancid, so its worth more than it would be on other servers... as for any condition ur in, i dno't think you should throw that out in peoples faces to sway their thoughts... Everyone has things that could be wrong with them, and if ur just gonna use that as an excuse to change the way people feel about this i hope he doesn't get suspended...

sorry if i sound like an *******, but you shouldn't try to sway the way people feel like stuff that goes on in ur life...

I wonder if I could get a wheelchair to borrow. :-?

Scammers suck really but in the end its up to you to make good judgements and if you're not sure, then don't do it or ask someone for advice.

pbfsgirl
02-02-2008, 11:49 AM
But who can you truly ask for advice? Certainly can't trust 99% of OW players, and the mods and admins are like stone walls...

Wizzy
02-02-2008, 11:52 AM
Well if moderators and monitors are "like stone walls" then there's a problem within the support that needs to be fixed...that's another entire epic on it's own lol

SkatrBill
02-02-2008, 11:57 AM
not really, ow support has gotten alot better, you just have to take the extra step, and try to contact a mod or something on any of the messangers their on... their always willing to try to help.

Wizzy

Hence I said "IF". :p

But there's no denying that some people run into trouble with the Support once in a while and it's unfortunate.

pbfsgirl
02-02-2008, 12:20 PM
Not my point. Support tickets don't have the option to ask "is this person trying to scam me". I concur that the support system is better, but that's not what this topic is about.

When you're new, and you don't know if you're being scammed or not, who can you reliably turn to? I mentioned the mods/admins only because they're the only people who you can pretty much trust, but try sending them an OW msg from an unknown account (i.e. noob) and see how long it takes to get a response.

Hopefully they know how to navigate to the forums and ask in the newbie section...and hopefully they won't get flamed and won't get someone who's the scammer's buddy

SkatrBill

i belive they made a guide that you read when you make a new RGA or account, that alerts you of scammers... i don't think its a 'being new' kinda thing, its more of a 'being stupid'... learn the hard way, it will only take you 1 time to learn not to get scammed...

Wizzy
02-02-2008, 01:02 PM
I kinda have to agree with Bill on this one :p. Most scams require two people to be successful, it's just a matter of being able to spot it. But then again, Outwar does have younger and less experienced players soo...

as i said all he has to do is report it in a support ticket and im sure they will look into it
