wow didnt think yahoo would be worth that much. and what do you guys think about that if the deals goes thorw will they get rid of yahoo messager or msn messager and just make 1?

i saw that on cnn today, yahoo was "carefully going to look at the offer", they aint worth that much so you know they are expecting, they just hit an all time low in profit.

I hope Microsoft doesn't buy over Yahoo. I like Yahoo as is by themselves. I despise MSN -_-

If they do buy Yahoo I'll probably just stick with Gmail and Google and such.

meh, only good thing about YIM is the chat rooms with voice which MSN doesn't have :)... i use to like playing the games too on YIM...

I personally like MSN a lot more then that POS yim. But, I prefer Yahoo for their weather and news, I like how right when you get to their site it has it all there. Unlike Google. Though, google is by far the better search tool.

I know Microsoft/MSN have been trying to compete in the search enegine world for years now, so if this deal goes down they'll be set and will be big(ger) competetion for google.

I don't know how people can not like MSN. Its more organized and more realiable then YIM could ever be. The closest thing to a booter that exsists for MSN is a freezer that only works if they're not on MSN and you keep it running. Not to mention MSN with msgplus brings it to a whole nother level of custom stuff... and msn does have voice chat, its just a web chat to... which i'm sure you can do it without a cam, idk as I cant stand listening to people on mics. Best of all it dosn't eat up your computer, like YIM. /me all my comp icons turn black when I get on yim
