Instead of doing a 50% point promotion every now and again or a double pt day once every 3 month.

Add a voucher to all purchases and let the players use these vouchers to spend in the treasury.

set up maybe a new trousury that u can spend these voucher pts on.

eg every $10 u spend u get 1 voucher pt so $10 =1 $100 =10.

now in the treasury players can buy some of the leet items in the game with there voucher pts.

Treasury :-
sigil lifeforce 150 voucher pts
quiver lifeforce 150 voucher pts
infernal essence 400 voucher pts
fury augment 15 voucher pts

this may encourage regular spending on outwar and also gives some players who cant buy these items a chance to obtain them over a long period of time.

Theres lots of things you could do with this another example is:-
You could award the top prefered players 1 voucher pt every month.

you heard this idea here first.....

I'm surprised they aint already added them kinda items to treasury

I preferred it when they did the outwar auction that was a decent idea givin people the chance to get items to gods no1 could beat maybe bring that back every 4 or 5 months

but if they do add this idea pp should get 1 every tuesday based on lvl, if u have lvl 1 u get 1 every tuesday but if u have lvl 3 u get 3 every tuesday, bout time u started rewarding the people who have kept your game afloat for years

Ya Outwar might make more money but just because they make short term money doesn't mean it's good for the game in the long run. . .

People need to stop looking to suite either A) Rampid or B) the players and start thinking about C) The future of the game.

This would only destroy the economy of the game as we slowly put things into the economy that shouldn't be there.

i actually have no clue what you actually talk about half the time.
you dont want to help rampid make money, you dont want to help the players gain better items and more content.
but you do want the future of outwar to continue ????????????????????
lay off the happy tobaco bro or the drugs or booze not sure which!!

Ok let me explain. . .

If you think of ideas that only help Rampid out then the players suffer (unless they have lots of money) and generally ideas like this destroy the game economy.

If you think of ideas that only help the players then generally only a small portion of players reap the benefits while the other portion gets left behind.

When coming up with ideas you need to think of the future of the game. What's best for both Rampid and the players as a whole because the game cannot survive if even one of these entities goes sour.

This isn't a concept I expect you to understand, or, many people to understand because the majority of players make suggestions based on there own personal needs not on the needs of everyone.

How about add both, so those who do buy points get something special and for those who can't buy points they could use the free points

If you'd like to fully rant on my intelligence feel free to take this conversation to PMs or hell, my msn is Repole@oswego.edu. We can fight all day over our ideas. The fact remains that not liking the majority of your ideas doesn't mean I'm 'insane'.

i at least somewhat agree with most your ideas hec, but i gotta say i hate this one. sure it would help me. in the 3 weeks i have been back i have dropped over 3 grand on the game. so that would give me the two hardest to get LFs? I'd love it, but at the same time, would you really want everyone that has money to have a sword? Sure most people take alot longer than 3 weeks to buy that many points, but not everyone does, and alot of people have been playing and buying points over time ,sure it would take longer for those guys, but there would still be a lot more noobs out there with really good items

first of all you all have to remember my post is a concept only!!! outwar doesnt have to add sigil lifeforce ect they can use the voucher concept and add unique items.. also u have to remember i said 1 voucher per $10 and i said that pp should earn a voucher a month..
do you realsie how much money you would have to spend before u got the lifeforce..hell in $ its $15,000 i say if anyone spends 15k on ow give um a damn blade lol...

anyway back to what i was saying the concept here is to give something back to the players who keep outwar running. thats you guys who spend $ and buy pts... why shouldnt you feel a bit special..

concept only, i get that, lol. but even with other items, same effect.

and one of us really sucks at math, lol. mayeb its me being a newb at life again, who knows. by my calculations of your post,

$10 = 1 voucher point, therefor
$3000/10 = 300 voucher points.
the two lifeforces you posted prices of were 150 each, so 150+150 = 300 means rampid owes me a damn blade, lol.

I realize concept only and the whole part of what i have spent and what you posted as prices are not final word or anything, I just see it as people being able to get really good items for absolutely no effort.

but for making big spenders feel special, sure, i wont turn down a free blade :)

Medman I don't think you'd want this then because like most changes (although I don't see this getting implemented) it counts from when it gets changed forward.

i like bonuses, and like i said i won't turn down free items, now that i see you left off a zero, it sounds like a much better idea, lol. i guess even when i knew it was a concept only, i still went by what you posted and that killed it for me, seemed way too low. i wouldn't mind it if it was just that, a bonus for people that spend money, but something people who do not spend money could still get.

yeah one thing you have to understand when i make all these posts everyone of them is only a concept everything isnt concrete and alot of my suggestions would possibly need upgrading, reworking, changes to them ect, well maybe not everyone.

I realize this, i have been playing for a while. I'm not worried about the past, I bought points because I wanted points. I got exactly what I paid for, nothing more and nothing less. If in the future there was an added bonus, even a small one, that's cool, if not, that's cool too because I would still get what I paid for. Also doesn't stop me from buying more points in the future......just because I bought a decent amount right now and don;t plan on continuing spending that much doesn't mean I won't buy more points...
