once you get to a level set by ow (say maby 40) you would start to gain elementel stats basied on your skill tree ex:
ferosity would get fire and Kinetic- 5 each damage and 20 each resist.
presition would get holy and arcane- 5 each damage and 20 each resist.
affliction would get shadow fire and kinetic- with 2 damage and 10 resist each
this would help with many things including sr and pot gods also put more thout into picking skill tree most just go for bfa and fort.

you dont really need this u can buy resist augs quite cheap and a lot of resist
items cheap.. so i would think that it would be far too much coding for such a small benefit

the numbers can be higher they just examples and more people would do sr/ buying more points

Actually the more people doing Sr the less the stuff will cost and the less points will be bought.

elemental resistance is based off the premise that you don't get any initially. A level 70 by your model would only take 40% damage from an elemental mob of there school.

400 resist for level 70 and seeing as how many 70's there are... doesnt seem so bad. 300 resist at 60 not a super help but its decent. 50 where alot of people are at with 200 resist will help with getting those resist pots.

the idea is nice, but it should let us pick what kind of resistance we want for each level, not predesignated

that was my other idea get so many points to put into elementel resentance and attack per level.

600 resist at 70, unless you're affliction then it would be 300 resist to 3 schools at 70 which is completely unbalanced considering the stat of need for all the schools. Regardless if I were level 70 I'd have 850 resistance holy/arcane resistance wearing my normal zhul equipment.
I just don't think this would work.

the idea is nice, but the amounts are far to high.
a level 70 character, would have 60% resist, with NO gear on, of 2 elements, unless he chose affliction(which no one does)

the whole concept here is bad lol sorry but i hate this idea
1- it would give everyone pretty much 900 of each resist with items n augs that are in game then the fun goes out of beating gods again

capkloud do you know what your talking about? Alot of the high level players use affliction.. Just cause you don't have the level to do it... doesn't mean that no one does.

affliction is nice for the high attack, but if u don't block in narzhul raids u r toast. preservation still betetr by far, and even so , i doubt more than 2 % of the high level people use affliction

People can reach 45 block without fort and have enough HP to stand a 15k hit without being in the pres class anymore. And i highly doubt you can last 2 rounds of not blocking nar even with pres class.
Once you get to 65 most likely you can get to 15khp skilled with a few pots to help.

that's a level 70 with noob pwnage/emp/st/bl , adding the hp from fortify/bfa u can last 2 narzhul rounds without blocking, preservation has got smth to do with lots of hp more, that's it. maybe u didn't notice by now

By lasting 2 rounds i ment getting hit twice and lasting.
If you are going for Nar.. Obviously Your going to use a Sosa Which gives you more hp and Pumpkin if your a lvl 70.. giving you way more then enough to get hit one time and still move on to the next round.. Obviously with BFA and fort you get hit twice you die. With DS.. You get hit Twice you die.. BFA and Fort can't make you survive 30k

i doubt u can go to second round if u have affliction, no hp pots and u don't block. so i was doing just a simple statement: a 30 k hit on narzhul doesn't compare to 2 hits x 25 k damage;) so, which school is better ? affliction or preservation ? :D

totally agree with fire here not only would u last 2 rds but if u did block u could go further...affliction sucks

Hmm.. Thats funny Maybe the other servers are not so smart.. But on Fabar most of our 64+ have affliction and enough HP to last getting past first round without block during zhul..
I think you guys just haven't seen it in action.. I've raided zhul i know what happens :)

yeah, rofl, of course people on fabar pick affliction. nothing happens there. no fights between crews, nothing, u can dc all day long without the fear of getting attacked, while on sigil u kinda need illusion and loyalty if u want to survive ;) so yeah, maybe people on sigil are not smart, as u said, but sigil is definately the most active server from all 5, where smth really happens everyday. i got a level 61 character on torax too. u know how many times it had been attacked since 0 to 61 ? like 15 times. and i'm not joking. torax is dead as well in matter of pvp

Rofl.. Illusion and Loyalty survive? Looks like we know who the real men are.. And yes Fabar is fighting with each other.. Don't expect newbs who don't even know about affliction's real use to even know about hitting :P

Maybe all the servers BUT Sigil are smart and realize that pvp/attacking is dead and it's a waste to even bother now days.

lol, spare me with the activeness on fabar and torax. rofl, i'd teach u a lesson if we were on the same server to wake up in the morning and see your account 300 k exp less , cause ur tough and u don't need illusion and loyalty :D

I don't like it. Max resistance is already available through a variety of ways, and this would make each of them worth less. Also, didn't I hear complaints that 70s are overpowered already? This would just make them more powerful (you wouldn't have to wear all your resist gear to get max, so you could put on some other gear that was more towards atk/def/etc).

Inverse it, lvl 55 gets the most and more you level the more it goes down. Do something for the little people :(.
