Sending out Crew Message

I think they should send out msg to people in certain ranks in the crew.. Like if you have raiders only info.. send it out to the raiders rank. If you need people to trustee send it out to the people in the trustee rank.. bcuz i hate spamming peoples inbox that dont need that crew message

This would add a lot to the drop down for selecting the receipients.. wouldn't it be easy enough just to write it to one raider, and copy and paste it to the rest?

that really depends on how many raiders you want.

Personally I like this idea, or, at the very least allow us to seperate people we want to send something to by a semi-colon in the menu.

I like the idea too, because of like, warning boot messages for the bottom rank that hasn't trusteed or something. Could send only that rank the warning.. I guess we could just mass paste it to every person, but that wouldnt be as convenient and cool as rank-specific messages :)

I love the idea...would make stuff alot easier...i personally wouldn't mind lots of drop downs to select a rank to send! Great idea!

thats what i was thinking.. i just dont want to spam other people with pointless garbage not involving them then they get the wrong impression if you reem outsomeone else

I agree with him. Adjusting crew messages so you can select it to send by ranks would be great because I usually need to send all the leaders an update on things every so often usually for their eyes only. I'm not gonna send it to the entire crew lol. So I have to hope that YIM is reliable and that they get my messages over there -_-.

All in all, it does help with the organization of a crew and its efficiency.

I hope ya'll don't add a price tag to this as well like the action log search feature. rofl.

add a section as a contact list

so you can create a distribution list of people that you want on it that are in your crew/crews. just type in their name and click on add, since some crews have more than one crew with raiders or whatever in each crew. (ie - dos/dol on torax).

then once you create whichever d-lists you want you can then have them in the dropdown list.

How many ranks could you possibly have though? LOL. Well there is DTP :-? with their 500000 ranks lol. But then again, when you click the magic gem and it has the drop down of items, I have a super duper long list so it's the same thing. If you can do it for magic gem then might as well be ok to do it for crew messages.
