GOOD AND BAD IN A NUTSHELL:

GOOD:-
All the new improvements to the look of the game
1-new backpacks
2-new crew layout and upgrades ie under fire resist ect
3-the new preserver bplate and resist gods
4-stoneraven
5-war of zhul
6-aug removal
7-two way vaults
8-item transfer per rga
9-the overall new look massive improvements there
10-the treasury in some cases
11-support tickets i myself believe them to be very efficient fast and realible and very helpful.

BAD
1-the 20 man resist gods murderface-anguish(very difficult bosses and with outdated items}
also anguish is impossible to beat as there isnt enough resist items in game to beat him
2-tech pants quest-ive never known a quest take so much rage to complete and the end result is so dissapointing.
3-the xmas quest-every yr at xmas we have had either some good stuff or a decent quest this year considering
all the hasssle and downtimes problems ect t was very poor.
4-treasury, just lately it seems everything is going into treasury theres nothing to play and get free.
5-server freezes every 15 minutes{very annoying}
6-mod abuse im amazed how many mods they choose who play less than 2hrs a day
7-removing outwar auctioneer where is he!!!!
8-Cauldron, just the lack of content for this. there is so much that could be done with this in the game.
9-20 raid cap per hr and the 10 raid crew cap once players are capped there is nothing but dc to do
10-Severe lack of quests the last quest i did before the tech pants was the reforged blade i think.
11-treasury 90% of the items are outdated.
12-Economy almost everything on sigil not sure on other servers is at its lowest.
13-Overall lack of quests gods and new items.
14-oblivion set{zhul pieces were easy to get in woz, the preserver isnt that hard to get} but oblivion was tough to do
not only did u need to beat all 15 of the gods but the drop rate was also low so it took maybe your crew beating 50-60
god spawns and the oblivion pieces are way under par on stats

Completely agree with quest and a post has been made about the economy, most of that is true, but it does lack in quest...another thing I dont like is how its set levels to get a set but yet you get the level 10 characters with money who have a better god set than myself? That is a confusing factor.

Also if limiting time in StoneRaven and actually it now working and booting people out then a price drop might be nice for that.

The lack of loyalty to long server paying customers, all i ever see is offers for new players to buy stuff, but where’s your loyalty to the people that have kept this game running over the years u offer them nothing.

Security on the site, that’s just poor when u have your own players hacking your site and taking it down and basically ****ing it up

God raids that seems to be your answer for everything game gets a lil boring throw a few new gods in to keep people happy, how about some real content if I remember correctly didn’t u say Justin u could add something better than Woz what u waiting for lets see it?

SR dunno about other servers but on sigil, its been killed, u can buy a full god set for like 3k now that completely ****s up the economy cause now u have gods that would sell for 300 points not selling as u can get sr items for less than 500 points, and u ruined it cause u added flasks to treasury

Greed everything now being added in money orientated, thought this was a FREE game might wanna prove that now and again, cause where are lil kids gonna get a credit card from?

Yeah. I agree with you. I've been playing this game for a while now as well :p

But I don't agree with chires on the Support part. I still think it's lacking a little.

I actually have a list of changes that are good and bad on my profile (jimmyannray) but I like the idea of this post. I have played outwar for a long time on and off. I have quit several times, once in round 19 when i won the round and OW ended the round 15 minutes early to get other winners. then again when i moved to Korea (military) and couldn't buy points, then again when RGA came out and it wouldn't let me tag my accounts.

Anyhow, agreed with gage on the no long time customer or even big spender loyalty. It seems the only way for me to ever buy points again is to buy a fax machine and a telephone line or a copier to make copies of all my personal data.

As I stated before I couldn't tag any of my accounts so I'm sure they have all been deleted (not sure, can't get anyone ((like an admin)) to tell me for sure) so i had to start from scratch. sure, because of a couple old friends my level 30 is sitting with nearly full set of SR, but all i can do is DC all day, yes i know you have to cater to the higher levels because they play and pay constantly (for the most part) but what about giving us little guys more stuff too (not just gods)?? I would like to level to be up there. 42k a day from PP and EPT is just not enough to level decent with anymore. 21K MR and 1500 RPT is decent enough for me to DC, but once again, who wants to DC all day?

can't do anything with the crew menu except see profile leave and find a new one. If ow didn't lag so much every 15 minutes then this wouldn't be a problem, but the more pages I have to go through with the server lagging, the more aggravated I get

second one was about not being able to DC because the mobs wont appear for me, and also a line in there about them deleting my shoutbox post about it. The response i get is "we're only doing our job" talking about deleting my shoutbox post!!!!! how was that the most important part of my support ticket? How does one ignore the part where The only thing left in this game is gone for me right now? I seriously think people were more happy with the support when it was basically just Torax and Fabar running the show. heres a priceless example:

Yes, outwar\'s server is having issues. No one can see anything in DC.

I don;t se anywhere on the News saying there is a problem with the server and it is being worked on, i have to send in a support ticket to hear that it's not just me. Am I the only one that has sent in a support ticket about this? If I am then I guess this system works, if there are hundreds of these support tickets then I think it would save time for more important tickets if an announcement was made.....

this is not just a bash of rampid or OW mods/admins. this is just a few things i have encountered in the short time i have started playing again.

the good:
two way vaults are awesome (kinda defeats the purpose of not allowing people lower than level 10 use TB though. I put a decent god set on a level 1 and then just hit 10 2 hours later)....however, it works great and i love it.

getting rid of the security image for DCing....yes I know this lead to what OW is now with people constantly using DCAA (yes i see it constantly) however, that was a pain in the rear.

new aspect of raiding (the elemental damage/resists) just one more stat people need to try to balance out. probably not all that new, but new to me.


I'm sure there are other things going good and I just don't notice because of the bad. I liked before when the good far outweighed the bad, and most the complaining was players getting mad at each other

I agree with you on that point because it'd save the Monitors lots of time reading through tickets about the same issues. Reading tickets of the same thing warranting the same response just extends the queue and response time for the people with more serious issues.

[keep in mind, i came back to OW in november after being away for about a year and a half]

Good:




¤The map is displayed better. I like it more than the old 'you see exits north, south, etc.' link on DC pages

¤More ways to buy pts

¤Exp boosts

¤Rage potions




BAD:




¤I miss income and equipment. I dislike the strength bar.

¤No more crew wars? All that's left is to neg each other while trying to raid the same god, or having endless HL wars. No one really benefits from it, and I liked the gamble of the whole crew war concept.

¤DC mobs still drop rings.....even though they have no stats. Damnit, OW, quit filling my backpack up so fast with useless items when I could at least get some crappy augs or brutes.

¤Everything in the treasury is seriously over priced, seriously.

¤No 'drop-all' function for the new backpack. No more checkboxes either.

¤It's been mentioned, but I want the OW auctioneer back, damnit.

¤Too many players with mod status.

¤Point prices don't realy offer much. 100$ for 2500. Okay, then 300 = 7500. Why not add more points per dollar as you go up? Even though 1 pt = 1 nickel [through e-checks, at least], that shit still gets expensive. Don't relaly wanna spend 100-300 bucks on something that I'm not getting at least a little bit of a deal on.

¤The world is flooded with too many gods, dropping too many items. GJ, Outwar, you flooded the market and ruined the economy; so people are buying less and less pts. Would have thought Rampid would realize that, seeing as they don't mind raping you in the treasury for pts, or when you buy pts.

¤The exp boost skill that people actually PAID for, takes 2 DAYS to recharge, and only works for 15 minutes. I know it's too keep people buying totems and exp boosts, etc; but god damn, Rampid.

¤The cave quests take WAY TOO MUCH rage for the shitty rewards you get from them. Prophetic Harbinger was annoying enough, but at least she gives a DECENT amount of exp as reward, whereas the cave mobs just rape you for rage.

¤With all of the new god items, SBOTO has become pretty much worthless, unless your set up to get reforged right after it. I'm suprised LF prices haven't dropped.

¤Obliv pieces are too weak for all the crap you have to go through to get those SG's
