I like the idea of the black background and purple render but the purple glow before the border makes the pic seem worse, and actually ruins the depth of the picture.

thx UL, my theme for the pic was like comic book style, so thats why its like a black and white and 2 colors, i also added the rain in the background to give the pic some more action and add to the comic book style of it. as for the glow around the border, i was actually trying to get rid of most of the depth in the picture, so it would look more like its right out of the comics, and without it, it just looked too plain.

i see what you mean when u say straight out of a comic, and i like the idea of the joker being apart from thebackground, but if you want it to seem more like a comic i think bright colours work :)
