There is a problem when say a rank 2 or wants to change a newly joined member to a real rank because the rank 1's rank gets lowered to the rank 2 or lowers rank at the same time because you can not set someones rank higher than your own it gets defaulted to your rank. Its really a pain because it messes things up. Can an Admin look into making it so you just cant change people higher than you's ranks at all?

NO! This is a horrible idea! Crews will be so much more vulnerable to takeover if someone gets an itch to do so and has the ranking perm.

I'm not the OP...the OP is brainstorming, not me. I was objecting to his brainstorm. Perhaps you should move the thread.

No it's not. He's asking if someone can with rank perms can rank someone to a higher rank than they currently are. The game doesn't let you do that for a reason. It's a brainstorm.

no im not, im saying it ranks down those above your rank when you have rank perms because you cant set them higher than yourself. It lowerers say a rank 1 to a rank 2's spot when they try and rank up another member.

I have Rank 1 right below the Leader. I never get ranked down when I rank someone else up. If someone Rank 2 with rank perms wants to rank someone Rank 10 up to Rank 1, then they shouldn't be able to for a reason. That's what I'm saying. Same goes if someone Rank 5 with rank perms wants to rank someone up to Rank 3...it just shouldn't be done.

I think everyone's wording has been too ambiguous, which is the reason for the confusion.
