Whenever Im in search of help on the game due to a general game glitch or a problem of those sorts, I look for a mod, however the majority of the moderators seem to have little more power then I do, some cant even look at tradeblocks. I dont understand the point of a moderator (game helper) who cannot see a support message or look at a tradeblock. I've been missing an account since Outwar was rolled back, yet months later not even Head Moderators can help since they have little power more then forwarding the message to Admins in hope they ever read it. Why have such a terrible bureaucratic system of moderators if they are going to be inefficient and ill equipped to suit players needs.

King, the mods aren't the issue, its the power envoked to the moderators. Not only americans play the game, so it is good to have 'foreigners' as mods as well, we just need more rights as mods.

I agree with MJ in his first post, one of my accounts got permanently suspended because my friend gave me some augs off HIS main account. The mods told me i was stealing them from him and closed the RGA. EVEN when my friend complained that i wasnt hacking shit, they don't un-suspend it.
No help at all, they think cause they are mods they are the shit. TUT TUT worthless

TBS, do you realize who I am? lol you don't have to call me 'king' but as stated, the current system isn't working at all. even head mods don't have much power.

I'm not bashing the moderators here.. I personally love both Zimbob Head Mods (LuckyLeo/Chuwie72)... Both have coached me on this crisis as much as in their power, however they do not have the power over much more then deleting comments, warning, and Admin comments. I am sure many out there would love to take out their angst on the moderators, however they are volunteering for this job, pain only a pittance to the amount of work they do, its the Administrators that seem to be slacking on these issues.

Thank you MJ. We love you too. The majority of mods agree that there is not enough communication between ourselves and admins. I personally believe this is because Rampid is understaffed atm. With the addition of Rancid server there are more problems and the same amount of people to deal with them. Without direct contact with administrators and limited power there is nothing that we can do to stop a problem that gets reported to us. I.E. someone getting their items stolen or getting their info changed by a hacker. Issues like these take days (sometimes even weeks or months in MJ's case) to be resolved. This is why I think Rampid needs more in-house staff including another person who does what Se7en and now PureMisery do, but deal with mainly moderators.

Helpers exist for only one real purpose, to answer general game questions and to point someone in the right direction to get more help if needed.
Monitors are here to make sure support tickets have all the needed information so that when Se7en or I get to it we can do what is needed without having to track down the player for more info.
Time to break apart Leo's soul,
The majority of mods agree that there is not enough communication between ourselves and admins. My AIM/YIM are on 24/7 and I read every message you guys send to me. The only reason some of you aren't informed is because you don't communicate with each other enough.
Without direct contact with administrators and limited power there is nothing that we can do to stop a problem that gets reported to us. I.E. someone getting their items stolen or getting their info changed by a hacker. You as a head monitor have the ability to disables someones trading block in the case of items being stolen. As to someone's info being changed there is nothing we can setup that would enable you to clearly discern between a legitimate case of info being changed and someone just making stuff up to try and screw someone over. Without that ability to be 100% sure giving you guys the ability to change someones info would be more of a liability than an asset.

This is true, Leo coached me on all the info I needed to post to help Princeneon recover his account, so I feel his part is done. Now why would it take a full month (and counting) for the admins (you and Se7en apparently) to respond to what is probably a common message, when the mods have already taken care of your back breaking work.
I do not understand how you have the time to openly bash your Head Moderators for doing their job, when obviously you do not have enough time to actually do your own? Perhaps priorities are out of line here?
Dealing with you guys is the majority of my work.
It seems like lately, Dealing with you guys is the majority of my work, just to get my accounts in line.

That's the problem right now, account login issues which I assume you are talking about are all to common tickets. There is simply a back log that are being worked through. You say you have been waiting a full month for your ticket to be taken care of? The oldest admined ticket is from 1/02/08, 20 days ago. Yes that is a long time still but considering that a little over a week ago there were 230ish admined tickets I think a lot of progress has been made.
I only openly bashed him because he decided to post that stuff here instead of coming to me about it.

I am fully willing to believe that there are 200+ tickets waiting specifically on admins, and that is a whole hell of a lot on your plate. However I do not feel that these problems need to be passed on to the members. I have read the T.O.S. up and down, and see tons of statements on how the proprietors of Outwar (Rampid) require members to be reasonable in various aspects, I feel the members should have the same claim to expect these things from the support/administration.
I will not lecture you guys on how to run your company, that is none of my business, however I will say that players expect responses from their support in a timely manner, the ticket I originally sent was the day Outwar was put back online (Dec 2nd), Its not my fault you guys re-did your support system, and deleted all your old tickets, so I needed to re-submit on January 5th... So my support HAS been in far over a month. I am not just arguing my own account, as you said there are over 200 in the same queue as me, all starting to lose their patience on what should be a few simple clicks to get accomplished. Perhaps your system just needs to be optimized, because it obviously is not working as is.

Just wondering, if the persons tb is disabled does that also disable the ability to transfer items to another char? (to trade from them obviously) And in terms of the hacked account and in an issue of someone's sec/pw/email being changed on them, maybe you guys could set up so head mods could temp suspend for a max of like a week or something until an admin (like yourself) could take a look at it? This would instantly stop the hacker from doing any further damage to the account and save admins time restoring it.
Just a though :).

Disabling Tb also disables the item transfers.
it doesn't however disable 2 way vault, so that would def be something to look into. A hacker could use that to move items onto a person with no tb ban.

Now thats a very good and very true idea and I am hopeful this feature will be looked into to add to the disable list soon to help reduce the ammount of damage thats done.

Ok so. I took my time reading this thread, or at least most of it. I think the thing most people are agitated with is the wait time for the resolution of their issues. In their mind its like this
Player - "why is my ticket taking so long to responded to?"
Outwar - "we're working as fast as we can, we have se7en and Pm at their limits"
Player - "then hire more support staff!"
That's pretty much what most people think. I've asked around what people thought about this thread and that's what was said. If this situation of wait time could be solved, there wouldn't be so many complaints.
And if there was a complaints board there wouldn't be moderators who get all upset and say that this and that board isn't the place to complain and delete shoutbox posts, profiles and such that complain about one issue or another.

This was not my purpose of starting this thread at all. My argument is that there are a whole hell of a lot of mods, yet none have much of any power. The big picture is of course faster ticket queues, however I feel that can only be accomplished by either hiring more staff to do what Se7en/PureMisery are SUPPOSED to be doing, or pass the work downward to more moderators so the work can get done without us all hearing the constant statement from Admins that they are understaffed and cant get the work done fast enough.

My post addressed that part of yours. :-P I was merely stating what feedback I got from persons that I know.
