OW chooses the worst times for pt promos... If you left the promo up for a week maybe i'd actually buy some pts. You should already know that mostly everyone(who has a life) have bills to pay at the end or beginning of the month. Or maybe it's just me.
Just my two cents....

Haha I never thought I'd see the thread about the timing of the promo, but I guess I can understand. Most my bills come around the 1st or so, so by this weekend I have another paycheck in my account. When do you get paid?

I get paid bi-weekly so I don't get a paycheck until next week. Which is why I'm ranting. Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see if there's gonna be another pts. promo.

lmfao, it's so funny, if u need to wait for your next salary to buy ow points then i'm guessing u should use your money for smth else more useful. i thought people buy points when they got nothing to do with money ...

I buy car parts paycheck to paycheck, but it doesn't mean I need to use the money for other things.. A lot of times living paycheck to paycheck isn't terrible as long as the paycheck is big enough to support all your bills and hobbies. Obviously having money in the bank is ideal, but sometimes that just isn't in the cards. :)

don't compare car parts with ow points. everything else is more important than ow points. even pokemon cards, rofl. but seriously, waiting for paycheck to buy ow points sounds a bit freaky. if u can't afford to buy ow points between paychecks, i imagine that the next month u buy ow points and decide not to buy toothpaste that month

I've never understood why you have such a problem with other people contributing to keeping a game that you play running. Regardless of their personal situations, should you not be glad that someone gets enough enjoyment out of it to spend money and keep the game alive?
Oh well.

lol, i have nothing against people buying points. they keep me entartained. i lost 9 k points playing scratch tickets last week. sold some items and got 2,5 k now, hopefully i won't be losing those too :-j the points i get from people that buy them go back to u and i don't upgrade my account. u should be happy. removing scratch tickets and any kind of point based game would make me rich
edit: maybe i could have bought an infernal essence with those 9 k points. damn it ... maybe next time

People need entertainment to survive, as funny as that sounds - It's literally a minor necessity of life. Lack of happiness or a hobby one enjoys can lead to depression and can even limit the effects of a persons immune system. Needless to say it's important to stay in good health and stay happy.
Outwar happens to be entertainment. In that respect it's no different than internet, TV, radio, pokemon cards, car parts (if you restore cars for fun, or even action figures. Some people find it 'funny' to pay for a game but in reality you pay for just about everything you do in some way or another. Paying for Outwar is no different than paying your Cable TV bill if you enjoy it.
Personally, as long as I'm enjoying what I'm doing I have no problem shelling out a little bit of my income to support a game I'm playing. This is a 2 way street though and I expect the developers of said games to keep up the service if i'm paying *cough cough*

You certainly seem to. Mind you, you also seem to be the kind of person that thinks anyone underneath him is a worthless piece of shit, so whatever.

lol, who said anyone underneath me is a piece of shit ? i just waste hours on ow to get points instead of wasting my money. fortunately, the hours i spend on ow are the hours i'm at the office.

Tbh, I only buy when I get paid as it's excess money then, you never know what could be round the corner, I have money for what I want, but I don't want to spend on outwar to suddenly realise, oh shit, my car needs a huge repair, or I decide I want to go on holiday with my girlfriend for a surprise for her, and I don't have the money for it, it's not living paycheck to paycheck, it's living with a sensible outlook :>
