This is just an idea, and would like to see some feedbacks/extra ideas/ or opinions from players and even admins : )
Well pretty much the second currency can be like “Earned Points” like we had back in the day. Those who didn’t play when we had those points in game play, here is a brief summarization what those points could have been used for: buying upgrades by paying 2x the transferable points price (example something was 20 points in transf points, it would cost 40 points with earned).
Well my idea is pretty much like the old way we had back in the day, but with some new features.
So just skim the next paragraphs or read them over, what ever you like.
How would it work?
- You would be able to use both earned points and transferable points to purchase from treasury, use them on SB and TB chats etc
- Can have option if you want to purchase using both points
- If you purchase with both points, there will be a % rate set up, for how many earned points you can put in and how many transferable points. (Let say outwar set ups that you can only pay 40% of the actual price with earned points and 60% with transferable points)
How you get the points?
- On the old forum I had an idea about Outwar Pawn Shop, which will talk about in here also, changed it up a bit, and another possible way.
- And another method which deals with advertising
Outwar Pawn Shop
- This is an idea that was in game plate couple of years ago for like a week. You could sell splendor items to OW for x amount of points based on the item stats.
- Outwar Pawn Shop is similar to that one ^
- Players sell items/potions/augments to OW, and in return they get Earned Points
- The amount of earned points you get, will be based on goods you sell to OW
- Now you are probably thinking that players would just sell like 180hp items dropped from DC. WELL NO!!!!!!
- How it could be set up is that OW creates a Data Base of stuff items they would buy for x amount of pts each
- [ITEM DB] > has all god items that drop from singe-quiver, garland- sigil, varan – etc, basically all items from all gods. Also set items that drop in DC (champ etc).All of these items in the DB would have a specific amount of pts they would go for. Example: you have ring of eternal power you want to sell, you go to the Pawn Shop, select item you want to sell after you select it tells you how much OW is paying for it.
- [Potion DB] > has all potions that are in a game (holy-kinetic, brutality, elemental potions etc)
- [Augment DB] > would be set up differently than item/potion DB, because all augs are different and don’t have constant stats like items/potions dropped by gods etc. Therefore OW sets up a rage system DB for augments. For example they decide that for exp or rage augs from 5exp/rage – 10 exp/rage they would pay 10 points. For augs ranging between 11exp/rage – 15exp/rage they would pay 15 points. Different ranges would have to be set up, as there are million of different augments.
So to sum up the Outwar Pawn Shop:
- OW buys players goods (items/potions/augments) for earned points
- Prices are set up in Pawn Shop Catalogue (Item DB that OW creates)
- When player sells he/she receives x amount of pts that OW set up in the DB
Surf Em Ads
- Based on the old content that was in play. Players looked at advertisement pages for OW and at the end received some earned points
- This is pretty much like that old idea ^
- OW creates a surf page for ads (like some of surf pages on the web), this surf page will have all sites that sign up for ads on OW
- For surfing these ads you receive points (a max amount of pts you can receive on this can be set up)
- Pretty much this helps OW, because players will check out ads that are being paid to be hosted on OW, so they get more credits. And players get something in return for checking them out
- Now someone can say that, we can basically just click go on surf and minimize the browser and do something else. WELL NO, THERE IS A SOLUTION AGAIN!!!! All OW would have to set up is a policy, to earn your points. So what can be done is this, every new ad you would have to enter a security image word to begin a new surf page. So to view a new page we would have to enter a security image like for raids.
- Another policy OW could make is that we would have to sign up on the sites we view, like back in the day.
So to sum up this method:
- OW creates a surf page
- For surfing ads we get pts, and OW gets more reputation for advertising lol
- The security image word that needs to be entered to continue surfing new pages to keep cheating away
- For some sites need to sign up to complete the full surf to earn pts
These are the two ideas, I have come up so far, and got couple more just need to work on them.

- could be a way to improve game point economy
- Chance for players who can not purchase points, to safe up and buy upgrades ( still would have to use some transferable pts, as it would be set up that you will have to pay a % in both points)
- Improve sales in treasury
- Remove mass amounts of items/augments/potions from the game with Ouwar Pawn Shop, because some servers are over flooding with items which cant be sold
- Let’s say new items are added to treasury and they are very good, everyone wants them and the only way to get is from treasury. Having two way point system will provide faster buying, as some players would have to save up a bit of points to buy. And having one point system it can take a long time to safe up if the item is like 5,000 pts or 10,000 pts
That about it for now, so just wants to see other opinions on this. Maybe someone else has anything to add to this, or just what everyone is thinking about this. Also would be nice to see some replies from admins to see what they think as well.
