how about adding a mentoring system for new players? this way new players will stay because they have help with a game they are unfamilliar with. The way it works is when you reach a certain level you can opt in to the mentoring system to help new players until they reach say level 15 (could be higher if needed), and as a reward to the mentor if the player he/she is mentoring reaches a level in a fixed period of time the mentor gets a EXP boost and maybe some points to spend on CoP but obviously this is only an idea and any input or suggestions would be greatfull :)

I always liked the idea of a mentoring system, but for some reason every game I play they just don't seem to do it right :/ it'd be nice if the student and mentor shared something like a bond where one could teleport to the other or maybe even if you could party together doing special quests that arent level based so that way they would both be more equal instead of having a lvl 50 do everything for the lvl 1 just so they can get free stuff. maybe they could do quests that increase the bond thus opening up new skills and things that only they could use. I don't know if this is too confusing just say so and I'll simplify it more :x

I cant see an aspect of the game that relys heavily on someone who cant play the game yet running round with someone who wants to progress even futher, its like baby sitting. When i started to play CoP i found it a very easy game to get used to, so i dont think its really needed.

Well don't think of it like that....the mentoring system should be voluntary only. The mentoring system also shouldn't really be considered something that hinders your character because it's a way for new players to learn more and for players who have progressed well and done most things in the game to have another alternative experience with it's own helpful rewards. allllssoooo no I don't think you should just go around and mentor someone whos going to play for a day and quit. I think the mentor system should be used more with friends introduced to the game or something like that at least, but this is just my opinion. :)

Im still against it, as i said its an easy game to get used to you don't need a "mentor"

All you would have to do is look around the forums and ask in the game.

You can't compare outwar support to crowns of power support when they are two completely different games with two completely different support systems.

I believe a Mentoring System is just useless... Game is easy enough to even a 5 year old kid (if they can read and understand what they read) play it and get high level quick. All you have to do is read your quests... once in a while quests wont give you all the info, then you can ask in chat. Its not like you need another player 24/7 to reach lvl 15 -_-

CoP was the first game I had ever played on the computer. This game is very simple and doesn't really require any amount of mmo knowledge. There were some times where I needed some assistance with a few quests, but the objective for most of them are pretty obvious.

PS: I'm probably younger than most people here too, lol, so..

Some who play cop play outwar but not all, however that is still not the point when the two support systems are completely different and ran by different people all together.
