Those are the only pics i have really worked hard on making my best, you can look around at others, some of the other sections are ok some crap cause i was messing around :-P.
In all honesty i would rather have someone be serious and tell me i suck than people just say your doing good or something lol.

They're not bad, you have potential. In my opinion, work on render effect and the background :)

Same thing as Nyte said, however with animation...try to vary it up if you're going to make it a big part of your graphics design. Repetition is not a good thing when displaying your work.

yea i know, constantly styles change, this is like the style of my week :X i've just made a couple pictures at the time, its a shame i didn't save the Genesis pic as a PSD considering sonic didn't want to use it :X.
I agree my backgrounds have been lacking latley, i just don't know what exeactly to do to make them better, i am trying to change it up a little, just not sure of exeactly what i want/have to do.
Btw, if anyone knows how to make rain plz Msg me with a guide i would like to learn how to do this :). I am considering making still pictures too, i just make what people request and hope they like it and change the pictures to suit their likings :).
I appreciate the response guys :).

Nice pics, nice animation - work with filters more then brushes. You can come up with a bunch of unique techniques that brushes just won't supply you. I like them though ;)

Glad ur post wasn't 2 harsh :-P, i saw 1 or 2 to people who tried to make pics :X, and yea, epidemic tought me how to make the square filter which i won't say the name cause people like it alot and will over use it : / (considering i've seen a few pictures other than epis or mine that use it and make it look just kinda sick (in a bad way) : /)
and for filters i am expirementing with some, generally on renders i like the paint stroke filter in the filter gallery (forgot the name) you can see it on the wings of the dude from the Genesis crew pic.

hehe yeah I was kind of mean to some people - but wow, don't even post GFX if they don't deserve to be posted, and definetly don't call them great if they are anything but -- fortunately yours were good :) Also, feel free to post things if you want some help on what to add or something - I don't really have time to do a lot of OW pictures - I've been busy designed a dental website, so I don't have anything new to really provide people. Although I'm working on w1zzy and Corleone's pics

Rain is a pretty easy effect that can be nicely animated with only 3 or 4 layers. Each layer is exactly the same as the others, so you want to repeat the same steps as many times as you want. First off fill the canvas with black, and then add the maximum amount of Gaussian monochromatic noise. Apply a motion blur in the direction of the rain and then set the layer mode to soft light. Play with the opacity to achieve the effect you want.

If you want, you can add longer streaks for a more realistic rain, stretching the blur slightly more -- i usually make layers in order of biggest to smallest and mix them randomly

hmm yea i was considering making them longer but i didn't think taht it would have looked as good, if only i could have found a way to brighten up the dude a little i would like the pic alot more. i had him originally infront of the rain but i didn't think that was great enough, i do have him behind the black layer which i had erased at a low % so it will still make the pic look a little darker but i am trying to brighten up the dude and i can't find a good font to use...
if anyone wants to refer me to check out some fonts i will :).
