Don't bash the idea. Admins add raids for the treasury. Have it set up like stone raven, but the raids award treasury items at random. Have a quest where you have to kill 100 mobs, before you can perform the raid. The raid can drop anything from the treasury to the crew vault at random, the higher price items having a lesser drop rate then the cheaper items. For example:
Recharge Furys: drop very frequently compared to some items
Zhul Essence (being the most expensive): has a VERY low drop rate
Make this feature available to any level 3 crew with 50 members, where only 10 can enter to try the raid. It should be free to get into the area, and once you accept the quest, you get a new weapon (with 1000 rpt like stone raven) which expires after 6 hours. There should only be 1 raid, who can drop ANYTHING, which is available to buy in the treasury (even personal upgrades such as rage/back packs, etc.). The boss should be somewhat hard, so multi crews can't take advantage of this, but not hard to where a crew in the 10-15 total power range shouldn't be able to do it. There should also be a minimum of 10 dropped items, since the cheaper items have a high drop rate (such as potions). The area should be free to raid, but you can only do it 1 time every 48 hours. -Ducati

If they would to add this, i dont think it should be only to lvl 3 crew, because there are crews that been made before lvl crews been released in treasury. But not a bad idea

well it doesn't have to be word for word what i described, but if the raids were easy enough (for decent crews), i think a lot more activity would be around. it wouldn't be like killstein, it would be up for all crews, unless its been killed in the 48 hour period. It might not have to be a level 3 crew, but must have a certain requirement. Like the 50 members thing. If a member leaves and you go to 49, the area will be locked. A nice thing would be magic gems dropping, increasing popularity for the idea. Also things should be categorized like..
Minimum raid drop:
2 gods (anywhere from swift blade to conq helm)
3 potions (limited at 5, anywhere from brute to recharge or holys, and type of person potion)
1 personal upgrade (2 limit) (backpack, rage upgrade, more items on tradeblock, etc) )
1 crew upgrade token (can be changed in for any 1 upgrade of choice)
Level 1 Treasury token: can be cashed in for any treasury item up to 200 points (drops at random)
Level 2 Treasury token: can be cashed in for any treasury item up to 500 points (drops at random)
Level 3 Treasury token: can be cashed in for any treasury item up to 1500 points (drops at random)
Uber token: can be cashed in for any item in treasury after collecting 3 (drops at random)
Elite token: can be cashed in for any item in treasury, including zhul essence. (drops at random)
etc all the way to the minimum of 10 items.
Edit: The raid should have stats somewhere in this area..
HP: 150,000
Minimum attack: 2448
Average attack: 2889
Maximum attack: 3215
Keep in mind only 10 people per raid.

this would actually help the point economy IMO. since crews aren't paying tons of points daily (like for SR, which is around 2k per run for most crews with potions/flasks), this would save everyone putting points into the crates (which could even be dropped if your lucky in the raid) and flasks, and keep them being traded around on the server. More points= happier people, happier people= better game, better game= more people putting money in, to keep things going the way they are. -Ducati

I think the only possible way for Outwar Staff to implement this idea into the game is to make it like Killstein. The loot would probably be VERY limited tho, as each item DIRECTLY loses them points that would have been exhausted in the treasury. I could see this idea being added around a point promotion, which seems like another one is due soon. The OW economy thrives for about 3 days of a point promo, and then quickly diminishes... for Sigil server anyway.

but no ones buying points at the moment anyways, since all points are going into SR. on zimbob crews raid SR, sell the gods, so they can raid more SR. its stupid really. at least this would bring a new outlook to raids and a new exciting part to outwar. have you seen treasury prices? i spent 15k on a zhul essence, and its barely better than the SR visage which is worth about 1.2k on zimbob. I've had tons of people say its a good idea, and since treasury is only REALLY being used to a high extent for SR crates and flasks, why not add my idea? So some of the other items get around the servers?

I like this idea..I agree it would deffinetly help to boost the economy too.. idk about it dropping zhul essences.. those are way too good to be dropped for free... even if they have a low drop rate. maybe have an option where you can pay for a raid that will have better drops.. including essence.. and a free option where you'll find the lesser gods and pots only

I seriously doubt they'd do this. I mean the treasury items are in the treasury because they want you to pay for em! lol.

I mean the treasury items are in the treasury because they want you to pay for em! lol. right, but don't you believe that a fair game means happier people? and happier people are more likely to spend money on the extra gods/potions on the server? this is to give the little guys a chance, if your crew has 10 strong people and meets the requirements, why should you be limited to element and noc raids, when the big crews are killing the best gods, all the time? this is basically to increase activity/interest in the game, 2 things that have been lost with all the programs basically running accounts for us. with the dcaa's, and skill progs, the auto hitters, wheres the fun at? at least this way crews that work hard can have a chance to upgrade them selves and members, with better and possibly some of the best items. more money WILL be spent, if the people are happy. would you want to pay money into a game where you can't get anywhere? or would you be happier knowing you have a chance to win/earn some good items, and bring in extra points? think about it ;) -Ducati

If you want to catch up you need to put in just as much effort as they did. The game is not meant to "level" the playing field between the little and big people. It's meant for you to progress and be better than everyone else.

It's meant for you to progress and be better than everyone else. right, which is impossible to do with the programs people use, the fact that some people already have an upgraded crew, the gods that the 'elite' have. i mean i'm not a noob but i'm not the best, i have a zhul piece, sr stuff, sacred blade, etc. so its not like i came up with this to benefit me or any other one person, but to benefit EVERYONE on outwar, that puts in the effort to be strong enough to perform the raids, and to benefit rampid gaming. i've already stated my main reason behind it. happy customers (players) means return business. end of discussion. -Ducati

If you want to catch up you need to put in just as much effort as they did. The game is not meant to "level" the playing field between the little and big people. It's meant for you to progress and be better than everyone else.
Amen to that some of us worked our a**'s off to get where we are.

this sounds very intresting, but it would have to be worked on a little more in my sense, to the limits of what would drop and how much of what would drop.
I think double exp pots should drop, furys, flasks, pumpkins, sosas, magic gems, and vary rarly like how rare the uber augs use to drop make zhul essences drop.
Also mabey a few SR crates? and random augs no more than 2 of each augs total between all the crews total. - no uber augs and elemental augs.
This is a good idea though

Honestly i like the idea of a treasury style raid but the i can't see zhul essence's being drop there just to pricey even if the drop rate it really low. same with even magic gems and sosa's

Kinda like our 4th BH/FG/Sandleman.... I really like it... Could make the drops work the same way as BH does?

1 of each trasury god
1 zhul essence ??????
a pres orb
maybe a few crates, debateable (whats a crew that cant do SR gonna do with crates)
5 furys/magic gems/exp boosts/pumpkin pots/sosas(gotta throw in those junky items people hate to get)
1 of those huge backpacks
etc
etc
just thought up fast could be tweaked

i would agreee with poey but i would say to double or tripple everything, you got to remember theres tons of crews that raid this and you will need more items. ohh double everything accept the zhul essence which could drop like 0-1 depending.

no it wouldn't be like a BH raid. i wouldn't want it to be a boss spawn, stop changing my original idea please. also for the zhul essence, instead of it dropping, it should drop 'zhul token' at random, 4 can be cashed in for 1 zhul essence. instead of it being every 48 hours like originally planned, it should be once a week, with a token dropping every time. 1 zhul essence a month isn't very much for a crew, considering how many members there are. it should be like, you can start the quest on monday, and have until friday at 9:00 PM to finish it. it would reset the following monday. ill do a break down tomorrow on it so its easier to understand.

i actually believe that the treasury is there for a reason to soak up pts on outwar so adding the items to god spawns ect would mean no one buying from treasury.
it maybe possible if the god spawns dropped stuff just from potions not zhul essences or augs ect

lol yep its a bit like how they halfed pts from god raids then added a upgrade to increase pt drops by a minimal amount :/

yeah ow as an economy and pts play a big part of keeping the game alive and paying wages ect.
there will always be leet items n things which cost pts as ow need a steady flow.
my major concern is game content its few and far between and when they do release some it aint all that great.
the tech pants quest i have no clue what they were thinking there.

Agreed. But however, if they were to agree to bring up a raid like this, I would say that they'd probably just bring back Killstein and tweak the drops.

I second that thought. It is unfair to punish grandfathered crews that were made before the new upgrades went in.

Ya i was thinking the same thing. maybe tweak it so the augs drop more frequently and in larger amounts.

I agree. It would lose them money on each item. But what if they made it like the WoZ and only have this for like a month or so?

just make it a god... that makes it so not as many are given out...
also to even it out... make it have a completely random spawn cycle... with a max of like 14 days...
so it could spawn 3 seconds after it was killed... or it could spawn 14 days after it was killed...
also make it randomly spawn in dc... so one day its in lost foundry... next day its in rancids camp....
you could even have it randomly spawn in sr one time and make everyone buy crates to raid it, lol
makes camping this ***** hard as hell...
anything 0-100 pts 50% drop rate
101-250 40% drop rate
251 - 400 30% drop rate
401 - 750 20% drop rate
751 - 1500 10% drop rate
1500 - 14999 5% drop rate
Zhul essence 1 - 2% drop rate (1 in every 50 or 100 raids) - 1 every 700 days ... that doesnt seem that bad... giving a free zhul essence out once every 2 years(once every year at a 2% drop rate) thats the min that would be given out...

i think they put that in cuz too many powerful crews were using dcaa to do raids, though by now i wouldn't be suprised if they came up w/ a newer version of dcaa for raids.

Edit: lol. Sorry. Was having a blonde moment :p. You mean using a DCAA to move about? Yeah you're probably right, they'd probably just use DCAAs to move about if the mob was random-area spawn so it'll probably be no point to that.

Some programs were able to do dc and to form and join accounts in raids
They were also called dcaa
But what worries me is that some people seem to know much about them...

yeah this idea couldn't happen, outwar as a whole doesn't care about making customers (players happy) with cool things to do, this doesn't benefit their bank accounts..too bad really..
