Reason SmurfAlmighty was suspended was for posting a personal phone number on the SB. This is in direct violation of the TOS. correct? ok he got a 1 day suspension that was bumped to 7 days 15 minutes later.

Violations are not dealt with in a timely manner and it all depends on your relationship with the admins on whether your acct is suspended for 3 days, 1 week, or closed.

Well here's a difference in it all...It isnt illegal in the U.S. to get/request someones phone #, however if tricky were to receive harrasing phone call's, and Alit's intention was to hand it out for that purpose which it was he can file a civil lawsuit in all 50 states...So not only is there a difference in the intent of the action, but there is also the difference in the legality of it as well...

if i were to enter a random chatroom and start spamming people asking for their digits, should outwar suspend me? no, that would be stupid, outwar shouldn't have any control over what i do outside the game. and yes aim/yim/msn/whatever your messenger of choice is outside the game. they both happen to be outwar players, but that is beyond the realm of outwar. besides if it's such an issue, there's such a thing as ignore or privacy.

smurf was suspended cos he used outwar as a means to obtain/distribute personal info. tricky shouldn't be punished because from the screen shot he was just asking for a number. thre are outwar players with my number, should those players or myself be suspended?

you freely gave those numbers to those OW players. Tricky was trying to obtain the phone number from someone that didn't have the right to give it.

It doesn't matter if he got it or not. He doesn't have the right to ask for it. Now according to Allit, Tricky gave him his number willingly and freely.

I am not condoning what Allit did, but both matters should have been looked into separately instead of, oh well I can't do anything because it didn't happen on OW.

Then if this is true, modify the TOS saying that asking for any personal information OUTSIDE of OW is not our concern.

Simple fix and easy to do. OW does crap all the time without notice. Why, because they can.

And tricky can stop with the stupidity jokes. He is starting to offend me. (which btw is against the TOS and this forum is part of Ramid Gaming.)

So suspend him. It is warranted. He is making my playing on OW not joyful.

Im closing this for the same reason Justin closed the other 2 threads because its like arguing with a brick wall.

Dont make any more threads about the issue ill just delete them them now on.

I left this thread open hopeing to reslove the issues, but people are just not listening.
