I may not have been the biggest spender of all time, but I know I have put some money into this game, and I have never gotten any kind of special treatment for it. I have been unjustly suspended, and nothing done about it, I have been hacked and a blind eye was turned, I have had over 500 characters deleted when RGAs came out, and I haven't gotten characters exp treasury upgrades gods back, I won a round in CL that was stripped because OW F**ked up and nothing was done. Mayeb if you are the top spender period then you get some sort of privilege, but i doubt it seeing as all the crap that has happened to me.

seriuosly... bullshit, nice way to rig this crap :).

I have played on and off since round 6 i believe, so plenty of time to get screwed over.

$500?? lol try multiplying that by like 15 :P anyhow, Be glad the people do spend money, it is what makes this game free for everyone else. if they messed with anyone's information they would be closed down, and put in jail, not worth it to them, lol. they are doing it for our security to make sure someone's not messing with our information. And yes it was a hassle to get verified and I hated every second of it, at leas they give you a bonus for your trouble by making your next point purchase double :)

And the spending limit is to protect Outwar so that one person doesn't flood and ruin the game with frauded points... over 200 people are unlocked. I don't think it's deterring people that much. Also, are you serious with the messing with people's lives comment? haha!

Actually I have spent $630 Alone on Rancid and have not been asked for my info :p Overall, I have spent over 1k :D YAY OW. But yeah Mark, you admins should have put WC in, I don't know why you didn't or what your reason it but its still messed up. Also if OW ever does this again, PLEASE make minimum members at least 40 to actually have a full-blown competition and see how people work as a crew.

They were at 6 before the beat down began. They were still the #8 crew, and since there were no size restrictions, they get to compete.

I'm sure that no one noticed the new rule in place. But then again, why would you, it's a good thing, and those don't come from Rampid.

It's 1 point for an attack no matter what. An extra 2 if you win it. (so 3 for successful, 1 for unsuccessful).

How is that rule helpful at all?

Ok it would be helpful if the crew was using 6 regular members but on Rancid they have 6 of the highest levels on the server. Crews that competed like a normal crew should did not boot their weakest members so it is already uneven.

So a crew of 40 members will have probably 10-15 very strong members if they are lucky. Those 10-15 may be able to beat the 6 chosen by PR. So that's 60-90 points possible for those 10-15 if they are fully skilled the entire time. Another 25 if the rest of the crew attacks and loses (which will be the case). So at best a possible 115 points per hour. PR will fully skill and will not be negged, can use negs to beat the 10-15 best of any crew they fight. So they will hit all 40 and win, that's 240 points an hour. Keeping 6 skilled up with totems is cheap considering a crew can back you. Keeping them without negs is easier than checking a crew of 40. And hitting 24/7 is easy since people handout their logins all the time and OW really cant check that sort of thing easily.


So if that getting a point for a loss and 2 more points for a total of 3 points per win is supposed to help anything it didnt. It didn't even come close. A crew of 6 is completely ridiculous and you guys setting up the event really should have done something about it but you didnt so you handed them the tournament. No one on Rancid can beat them and our server is the only one where a crew of 6 could be in the top 8 becuase of our new our server is. You really didn't think this through and now it isnt even near an even tournament.

A point is being awarded for a defend. I am not sure if it is supposed to. In the chosen tbe fight...they are allies...tbe didnt drop the alliance at the start of the beatdown, so they couldnt attack, chosen attacked and tbe had more points and they couldnt attack.

So there must be something being award for a defend..or somehow tbe was gaining points. You may want to check how points are being awarded...not a huge issue in this case...but who knows down the road.

I think the tournament is a great idea. down the road I think there are some ways to tinker with it...but it is a fun thing. Kudos for the idea.

as for the rule 1 pt = loss and 2 more =win thats still not even balanced its way unfair for smaller crews..

the only thing i regret about the beatdown is not doing what i planned to do as i thought admins would just boot me out the competition and that was a 3 man crew of 3 lv70 accs ...it would of been a mass slaughter lol but as i said i thought i would of been disqualified...

i wouldnt call it a beatdown competition though i mean unless a lot is fixed the next compo will be 8 crews with 4 members in each..its not really a war its just a bunch of fun and a bunch of free pts
