Im sure plenty of you also do what i sometimes do..
when you clearing your backpack you click drop for nearly all of them then you get to the last one and you click view or equip and then you have to start over again! how annoying is that?!?
so i say we change the backpacks again so this doesnt happen!

put the tick boxes back for drop and leave the other stuff how it is so its fast equip, view, vault etc.
happy PlayaFoSho2? ;)

this is more of a complaint. make some suggestions on how it should change and then this would be the right section for you.

I agree with Sensational. Suggestion:

Two options.
#1. Re-add the tickboxes at the bottom of each item like he mentioned.

#2. Add a single row of ticks at the bottom of the bag. You click all the items you want dropped, check off the []Drop, enter your sec word and done.

heres your bagheres your bagheres your bag

[]Drop []Equip []Vault []View
Get the idea? I like it

Most definetly. I do that all the time, and it pisses me off to no extent. If you click back fast enough I noticed the cache hasn't cleared all the way yet so they remain red boxed so you don't have to re-click them all, but nonetheless it is so damn time consuming and SO SO frustrating. I edit one of my earlier posts - I would LOVE to see the backpack back to its old self, or at least a much more user friendly one - because this is getting to an extreme.

Heres a suggestion to fix it, add a drop all option somewhere, cuz it's so damn annoying dropping a backpack full of junk in the first place, and that much more frustrating when like you said you get to the last item and accidently equip then have to select drop on everything again

Yay for tickboxes and a "Drop All" tickbox. Outwar definitely needs those back lol. The backpack as is right now can be completely frustrating.

Just make it like the crew vault, click the images normaly then an option to drop/equip/vault/crew vault items.

They should just stop the dropping of the useless items, as no one really use it...not even on multies.

Sparda1234

agreed, and i have said it many times before.

They should just add a tick box option on the things you want to drop from DC.

[x]augments
[x]orbs
[ ]body
[ ]boots
[x]pants

ect ect

everything else it auto dropped.

PlayaFoSho:Thank you, you brought up a good point: make a complaint forum.

Sensational: I know exactly what you mean, there really should be a better method to cleaning the bp, even a filter might be nice.

nice idea sparda.. would work for stopping things dropping that we wouldnt want :) also doesnt stop new people in the game (if there are any) getting gear to help them get started

How about at the bottom theres just a Drop All, and it just selects them all for you, and if you have like 3 items in your backpack you can just Unclick those. Usually you have more in your backpack that you want to keep than what you want to drop.

Btw that sir, is an awesome idea, and is seriously needed. All i really dc for now is augs, and i get like 100 items per couple augs, so its a real pain in the arse.

sparda's idea was a very good one .. that definitely should get implemented ...

Here's a way to solve the dropping useless items issue:

Make a way to "register" the items u always keep in BP ... So u can "save" the items u usually use ... u can even add an option under the "equip/drop/view/vault" menu ... upon clicking "save" in that menu, item gets a let's say green background ...

Then, u will a have a button called "drop all unsaved items" ...

YES! its very annoying! and faggatory needs a change asap!

and make the "drop all unsaved items" option not require a sec word input ... thus solving leaders' problems regarding members that leave their dcaa's on and end up having a full bp (thus making it impossible to skill them).

So .. u won't be able to drop the items that they use, cause those are "saved". But with the click of a button, u can drop all the rubbish o_O

I know that some people keep a few items in their backpacks in case of raids- especially pants. Why not make it so you can click an item, select the option to make the item an 'favorite'. The sec word would be needed to favorite and de-favorite the item. Then add a drop all option. It would drop everything in your normal backpack that wasn't a favorite.

I think the "favorite"/"saved" items are a bit too complicated, but I can't see a "Drop All" option working without them (people would forget).

So instead, I'll just think about the options for what drops in DC..

and people will start dropping their usual skill pants ;) so boys keep your pants in your vault when u gonna use the future drop all option, or maybe justin will think of a method

no nub, he meant that he will think of sumthing so that u can restrict items that drop from dc ...

That would be welcome :). Anything to get past the nuisance that we call the current backpack.

lol so what you are saying is make it better so that people running DCAA are less hated by leaders makeing the leaders/raiders not get mad at the people running dcaa. Althought i am one not drop my items just leave bp full because i dont like to drop items because its a pain. But the filter would make it easier for people to make a marco that they could run every 10 20 30 60 mins or whatever so that when there DCAA fills up there bp they would drop the crap items and find augs that they wouldnt find if there bp was full. In other words by adding filters 2 the bp it would make it better for people that run progs. The only good way to do it with out makeing it much easier would be a select all button and haveing it so you could pick an action from a drop down menu. kind of like it use to be. but being able to select all and then unselect your good items would be the only true upgrade that wouldnt help cheaters

Add on an aug part to the backpack. You added orbs, potions, and keys but not augs >_>.

I noticed if you have your equipped and backpack open and you unequip something the backpack updates with the ajax. But, if you equip something from your backpack the equip doesn't update. I think that might be a bug. I'm pretty sure when it first came out both where suppose to update without closing and reopening them?

PS semi related to this, can you make the skills page use ajax to update the page. Skilling up takes forever when you have to keep reopening the backpack to equip other skill pants for each skill you cast >_>.
