Video games preferences

Alright this is a multi part question.

What is your favorite genre of video game : jump shoot kill, first person shooter, role playing game, strategy, silly, fighting etc.

Do you prefer playing games on your pc, or on a console, and why?






My own answers: I prefer strategy and rpg games over the others. I personally prefer console games because the system is designed specifically for that and hence doesn't have to get bogged down in whole bunch of other programs before it can even load the game.

I personally prefer rpg's due to the fact that they (generally) require alot more thinking and planning, rather then just rushing into battle and raping everything you see.

i prefer my computer, because i can play nearley any PC or console game.

for anyone whos gonna say i cant play PS3 or 360 games, suck it, cause i can. all you need is a working emulator which you can make yourself, and the games(or roms if you want those huge files on the PC), coupled with a working bios for the system and/or game(s)

Fav games - RPG and shooters - fav of each category - FF7, FF12, harvest moon (HELLLLLZ YEAH) shooters - Halo1,2,3, COD4 - a recent hybrid of both is Bioshock, which I like a lot as well.


I prefer consoles, I just find it more directed towards them, and I enjoy the break from sitting my ass at the comp all day, I enjoy laying down on my bed kicking someones ass. I'm really into call of duty right now. If anyone wants to add me on XBL feel free - GT is jZampage

Secondly i like consol, most pc's have lag issues when it comes to high res games and consols do not.

RPG - My favorite all time game is FFVII

I prefer PC but I'd go with PS2/3 as well. PCs are easier to upgrade to suit new games whereas I'd have to spend probably like 700$ to get a PS4 when it comes out LOL.

Anyway, I prefer gaming on my computer because one I love Third Person Shooters and Real Time Strategy games. Neither of these games are as fun on a console, unless you're going way back to Goldeneye which wasn't even 3rd person.

I'm usually a big shooter/samurai fan, my favorite games are all 3 Halos, Blood Will Tell, Battlefront 2, and every so often I'll go on a KOTOR 2 bender.

Hehe most definetly. I would love to see a FFVII(V2) because I think there is still so much that could build on it. The white Materia at the end was all that happened. A lot could have happened still afterwards, and I think something cool would happen if like Sephiroth had like a living cell from the entire experience and managed to mutate. What characters did you use? I used vincent, cid, cloud. I put all the special upgrades into vincent, he dodged every attack lmao. They were all 99, had 9999/9999. I didn't stop until it was perfect. All the weapons dead, all the special level 4 combos. All those goodies :)

My team throughout the game (I glitched the PC one) was Cloud - Aeris - RedXIII

Cloud is all rounder
Aeris is a 1337 magic user =P~
RedXIII is leaning toward the physical attacks but can also pack on the damage with magic.

I wish they would center a next game around Aeris.
