Except that it's wrong. The quest must have been changed. Here's what they give for the next step, but that's not what I got:

what did you get? because there are two very similar steps in it. Because you have to do one part two times.
First time you get 5k xp
Second time you get 10k xp.

Btw, the wiki is much better to use. wahzaa still hasn't done anything to the draft:

Is it possible to skip the collection aspect of the build quest? when i was working on the shield of aces, i abandoned the first quest where you needed to get a poker shipment from malcom. After that i talked to pit boss, now i gotta kill 1000 masterminds. Skipped the whole first section. Can i do that again with the tech pants? i can't get the Gnathsomolds to drop anything lol

not all the mobs drop ionic leads and sub ionic leads, those are what i need and can't seem to get my hands on, can't i just skip to the next part of the quest by abandoning it?

No if you abandon then you basically cant do it over at all! so do not abandon..um..i would say still attack the mech mobs.
