Do i need to cast Mind Leech on target or myself to strip % exp turn from target?

lol, consider me a level 66 noob but i never used mindleech on people and the skill is rarely used on sigil. can someone who tried it tell me if it works with hitman and brute too ? cause i suppose u would strip well over 7 k exp from a guy if u use this combo on a person. somehow i don't remember seeing that "strip" part in the mindleech's description. was it like that all the time or was it changed recently ? and does it work ? rofl

I don't think it works that way. I believe it adds on to your ept/rpt ..not "strip" theirs like in an attack.

Like wizzy said, only it's just for xp.

Let's say one person has 1200 xp/t you cast mind leech (10) on him.
It last 300 min = 5 hours
it strip 60% of his xp/turn and gives it to you.

1200*60/100= 720 more xp/turn to you
720*5 hours= 3600xp in total

he will only gain 1200-720=480 xp/turn as long as mind leech is on him.

that's how i knew it works too, but the description of the skill is kinda puzzling :(

Well, I think it cleared it up a bit. It does say You strip and steal x% of the target's exp per turn.

so each turn during the duration you take away and add to you own. Just in different words:P

adding to your multi, rofl. i doubt anyone would train mindleech on a main :-j

hehe, well if you really were bashing someone into negative, mind leech would help quite a bit, skill him 5 times in a day and you have removed 60% of his xp from items, and if you also have tons of people hitting him i guess he would have really much trouble getting to positive.

Hahah, lol, that's great, ehh? >_< What's the point of discussing it then:P Anyone have any ideas of why it does not work or when it's going to be fixed?

Probably hasn't been fix because no one gives a flying F' about that skill class. If BFA was broken it would be fixed with 4 hours :P
