Patch Notes (1.14.0)

[Torax]

General
- Fixed a bug causing the chat window to snap to the top.
- Players can now go AFK by using the /afk chat command.
- More special crystals added!
- Group leadership can now be transferred with the /makeleader command, or via the target gui.
- Server restarts will no longer change the spawn times of rare mobs.
- The immortal staging area is now a safe zone.
- Group leadership is now automatically transferred if the current leader drops from the group.
- Different level admins will now appear with different colored names.
- Fixed a bug where armor searches would sometimes return weapons in the community market.
- Baldrics can now be searched for on the community market.
- The Doom effect will no longer kill players after they kill Cold Fixation.
- Immolation Traps can no longer tag a mob to you for loot credit.

Diamond City
- A Community Ledger has been added to Diamond City.
- There is now an arena area in construction that players can fight within.
- The graveyard has been moved back into Diamond City.

Spells
- Damage over Time spells (such as Infest or Envenom) now gain a damage increase according to half of the caster's crit rate. For example, if the caster has a 20% crit rate, DOT damage is increased by 10% every tick.
- Targeting a player or mob while it is already casting will now properly show the progress of the currently casting spell.
- Fixed a bug where spell bolts (such as shadow missile) would not face their targets.

Pets
- Pets now inherit 20% of their owners stats. This means if you have 200 strength, your pets will have an additional 40 strength.

Quests
- The start of Sacred Blade of the Order quest has been added! Head to Diamond City to begin your adventure!

Items
- The Crown of Mind will no longer put any stunning colors spell on cooldown.
- Items that drop when killed in PvP battle are now flagged as "BRUTAL".
- Claiming a stacked item will now award the entire stack.
- Items that have a proc spells no longer require reagents or to be standing still.
- Spells cast from items (such as a crown) will no longer use the player's stat bonuses.
- Baldrics can now be gemmed.

Point Store
- The price of vigor potions has been reduced.
- Be on the lookout for one of a kind items on sale for only limited times.
- Preferred Player now increases the drop rate of special crystals by up to 15%. The highest level of Preferred Player in a group determines the bonus.

Coming Soon!
- The all new zone "Celestial Citadel' will be in the next patch! This high level zone will feature content for 5 man groups, as well as raids! If you haven't seen the preview yet, check out here http://forums.rampidgaming.com/showthread.php?t=10843.

Damn... too bad I don't really play anymore. like 1200sta/500str (240sta/100str for pets) Those are some insane pets. Maybe when this patch comes out I will log on and own some people. NP/mammoth ftw!

edit: btw I am GLAD this is being put in. You either got my message i sent a month ago about pets needing to get better depending on the person or you had already been working on it. Either way it looks good!

One thing i dont agree with... buffing pets... they are already strong enough, no need for a buff. To be honest, i believe 2 pets should be scratched and make it only 1 pet allowed, and adjust those pets power accordingly. 2 pets especially since they keep getting buffed, is starting to get extremely powerful, especially agaijnst blue greens as they are extremely strong in pvp, aswell as pve.

But overall, thanks for getting rid of some of the bugs finally guys!

I agree to that. I just made some calculations and the Nature Protector of Stelistu will have 9k hp when buffed and with magnify will do 3k crits on me. Not to mention white pets that were healing decent too.

Shouldnt be that at all, still doesnt eliminate the fact that they will do all the runs, lol, because other accounts wont be able to, as we all know we need black white healers because of how OP convert is, and tankers = common sense.

Maybe if convert gets the nerf it needs this wont be such an issue.

We don't have any code in place for a stat reset but thats a very good idea that we implement. I don't think it would even take a patch to do so.

If you all have to do it, doesn't that make it fair? You could easily adjust with gear alone, stats really aren't neccesary to change to that degree.. anyway items give LOADS more stats then your char stats do.

Read over the patch notes dude, theres already a good portion of annoying ones fixed in this patch, and the next patch is going to be even better, as keys only started a couple weeks ago, and hes still got a LOT more to work on.

This proves your ignorance. Blue alone can beat absolutely any other class. Since you can mesmerize 4 times. That means casting Stunning colors and mind blast 4 times. And casting 2 times psionic blast. Blue can beat any other class without letting them cast a single spell in the fight. If you don't know that you need to acquire experience in using your color.

Previously rare spawns timer's would get all screwed up when we restarted the servers. Now they will not. That was kind of a big issue because it prevented us from restarting the servers, thus making server side bug fixes a little easier to handle.

Lann, a corrupt version of the patch was available for several minutes, if you downloaded in that window your install may be ruined. You might want to try reinstalling the client. Sorry about that.

That's what I thought but this morning I completely reinstalled cop but I still cant finish the update process. I get this error:

Try putting the file it points to on a different location and try again. (keep the file somewhere though, just in case)

In my opinion... this patch was horrible. Random additions like an afk emote ffs. Now your working on a new raid zone.... which will become obsolete a month after its released. The updates to pets are so overpowered its shocking they were added, but you did strip red casters of the little hp they were able to get by nerfing the immortal pants.

The best possible content you can possibly add at this point is either guild content, or a solo raid zone. Any new zone you put out will be boring in a matter of weeks.... but guild content can last forever!! The past few patches have completely missed the mark.... remember how excited everyone was about SS? Who cares about SS now?

I've played this game since beta... and I remember 3 patches that had anything to do with guild halls. 1) Hall in zhul was added 2) Large hall in DC added 3)No alliances allowed. That's all we got as far a guild content. It is very long overdue, its the most logical thing to update, please wake up and get to it.
