I think it's a good idea, personally, it basically means not everyone can have there own damn crew for them and 3 multis. For the lower echelon of players it's a brilliant thing because it will help people come together to progress.

It sucks for the new people that they have to pay for something, that others got for free, but I have to agree with Elwood about it making people come together. The only way to make it anywhere in OW is to work with others.

and there are three different types of crews you can buy, and it gets more expensive according to how many upgrades you want on your crew. The cheapest one you can buy costs 25 pts...

Personally i think the lvl 3 crew headquarters is totally worth 300 points. i'm willing to buy it for my multi crew

i honestly think paying for it is a dumb idea, and if ur willing to pay 300 points = 15 dollars for a crew then maybe u need to have a long felt heart to heart with urself m8 =[. This crew for points thing is truely a jip for money, and we all know in the past few years thats what outwar is turning into, but we accepted that - i do not about this crew for points thing.

Technically that doesn't mean that the person complaining about having to pay points to make a crew would be a whiny leader. Pretty dumb assumption there dude. But getting to the case at hand, I think its dumb. If they were trying to make a way to stop people from making multi crews then its not really much of a good idea because some people that earn and/or buy points would pay points to make a multi crew. Therefore most of the outwar players would still make a multi crew. Don't get me wrong, I understand that its a way to make people come together. I'm actually iffy on this one.

Same here. I threw away another crew just because I figured it was smarter instead of buying two-way to just buy the 300 point crew. Well worth my points.

I make a decent amount of money so $15 worth of points isn't going to hurt me any. i plan on buy quite a few points actually. needa credit card first though

LOL wait, and how would that make the site run smoother? I know one thing, I guess its safe to say that the multi crews that I do have will not be disbanding anytime soon now since I really don't want to have to spend points to make a crew. No matter how cheap it is.

i have my own crew made before the upgrades and what really p***ed me off was the fact i can no longer deposit crew stones to use to upgrade my crew. i dont buy points so am left with an un-upgradeable crew.

i think this is the dumbest part of outwar because ppl who have just started out and want to make a newb crew with other newbs cant unless they pay...and no1 wants to pay when they first start out...i think they should re-think this whole idea...

That's not true. I've looked at accounts that say they've never bought points in order to see if they're lying, and you'd be surprised in the fact that 90% of those who say that haven't, really don't.

Abundance of crews with little to no players fills the site with useless data, which slows it down like any useless data does. The change eliminates that AND encourages crews to grow together instead of split into 50 different crews with 3 people that will never accomplish anything.

I am sad that those of us in GF'd crews don't get all these nifty perks especially since so many have paid for upgrades on morale and drums etc and as such tossing a crew away to restart would be insane. But I really do like that new change.

Crews cost points. That won't change. If you can't buy them or figure out a way to earn them in the game, how are you going to lead other players successfully?
