Trade in for treasury

Well, I was thinking, that now, after the WOZ, with new items replacing old SR items, maybe there could be a feature in the treasury for trading in items for "credit" in the treasury... Or trade them in for "Free points," like the ones you used to be able to get from doing subscriptions.

I think it would be a good idea, rather than letting old SR gear rot in someone's BP/vault.

Yea, I'd like something to do with my SR gear that I wont use anymore. If they were to add something such as this there would need to be a good point return, not the kind you get from the blacksmith when ungemming items. 390 points spent 4 gemming and a 50 point return? Anyways if thats not practical enough, perhaps we can make items RGA bound so we might be able to move gods we no longer use to our other characters. Just a thought :)

I doubt they'd go for the free point return though, Maybe just to get credit for something in the treasury might be more likely.

i hope he actually knows and isn't guessing... cause my eyes completely worthless and unless it morphs into something better than an angelic i HIGHLY doubt i'ma be wearing it... same with remedeers and being better than lordly sandles...

To be honest i wouldn't be surprised if the angelics and lordly's stats get nerfed, they just seems alittle to high to me but meh they probably won't.

I really don't see why OW should do much about no trade items, honestly.

They've been no trade.

Says it right there on the item when you get it. You knew you couldn't trade it, you worked for it/bought it/whatever. Now you have something better.

They should give you a way for those old items to be worth something?

If you don't want useless items, don't get no trade items to begin with. Sooner or later they will be obsolete.

He made a very valid point honestly - Your items were used by you - Now you need to move on. 5/9 of my items are [No Trade]. When new items come out i'm screwed as I rely on selling my old items to gem new ones. . .But I still think this is a bad idea.

Meh. I've learnt not to bother. The logic of "I should get something for my old items or they should be upgraded!" is on about the same level as "My NES should be able to play Wii games!"

Interesting. I wonder if this improvement will make eyes the top neck again? Or possible the new item could be a combination of the AA and eye. Probably need to nerf the AA for that though, but the resulting neck would be wicked ;) Same could go with the sandals. lol not like i expect this idea to pan out but it would be interesting. Eye of the Alliance and Lordly Redeemers. I can already picture the items in my head hehee:D

SR items are not gonna rot, the black crate that dropped from the woz spawn mob, when u click erm and the area is added u will be able to update your sr items there so they will get better

only thing that is annoying is the fact if u buy 5 treasury augs u ahve to pay 1k to get them back the price is a lil insane it needs to be looked at big time

I still like the idea of trading in your sr items for points, but would be even nicer to be able to trade in your old gods for a set price. By having a minimum amount of points you could get for your gods, it would stabilize outwar's god selling economy a bit.

i think it would be sweet to see a buyback system.. mabe for all items, mabe every 10 credits equals 1 point? so this way you could trade in like non trade sets or anything poopy* for a few credits
