So i went to check how much outwar steals from the European people that have euro's and use pay by cash. Most of the time those people use IDEAL as a payment because its instant.

I went to check how much 1000 legacy points cost using a credit-card. It was $50
Then i checked how much it cost using pay by cash using the IDEAL payment. It says $50 and an additional fee of about $0,39 for using IDEAL.

So when i pressed ok it wanted me to pay €41,34. WITCH IS TO MUCH!

Here are the current exchange rates.

"Live rates at 2009.05.29 07:30:38 UTC

41.34 EUR

=

57.8912 USD
Euro United States Dollars
1 EUR = 1.40037 USD 1 USD = 0.714099 EUR"
Check it for yourself at http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi

So now my question is.... where does the extra $7.50 come from? And where does it go to?

It may not seem like allot but what if you multiply it by 100? Thats $750 we are talking about.

You would most likely have to take this up with Pay by Cash as it's a 3rd party service that handles everything, Rampid has nothing to do with their extra fees.

You can never get the exact rate, the place you exchanged the currency (In this case the CC provider) gives you less than what you paid for because they always takes a cut.

I never have to pay an extra fee if i want to pay something in US dollars or British pound. So in this case it would not apply.

I don't see how this would be my problem. I'm simply pointing it out.

Pay by cash gives a fee of $4 dollars for the processing cost .... that still leaves $2,50 dollars where does it go to? And why is it needed?

Its a bit strange if you go to a store you buy a pack of gum and you want to pay $1 witch it costs as it would say on the packaging ... but you still have to pay $1,10. Where is the sens in that? I would get the feeling the person behind the counter is stealing my money.

The way everything is explained on what goes where is incomplete. And it should be looked into by rampid billing support to keep faces from frowning.

I agree, I'm from canada and I bought 15$ worth of points and it cost me 22$.. It says that PayByCash takes a 3$ fee for the transaction. That leaves 4$ it has to go somewhere..

Ok but my point is Rampid has no idea where that money goes. . .

Id imagine that the exchange rate on their site is just differant to the place where you are looking, exchange rates are never the same and go up and down loads. I garauntee you it is not lost money lol it goes strait to that 3rd party place they sort out billing for outwar (robbing ****ers lolol)
