customizable glow

most leet items if not all have an outer glow to them. what about this idea, players have the option of choosing the color of glow to any of their items (DONT CHARGE FOR IT). kinda boring people having same set and what not. at least changing glow would add some individuality.

They would have to make all of the available colors into pics and then switch the images depending on each users preferences... With the amount of images, that is a lot of images to make and very time consuming.

Then you do not know much. There are a lot of images on outwar which have a glow to them, lets say that they add 5 colors people can pick from. They then have to go find the ps file for that item and change the outer glow then save then change then save ect ect.. for each of the items.. Then they have to add 5 new db fields into the item db to place the image links into them. Then they have to add the option to change outer glow prefrencess on your account. That is a lot more than 1 hour of work.

Ok, fine maybe you cannot change the CURRENT item glow choices but you could make any new items that are 1337 have the option of choosing a custom glow.... Im sure the mod will have a very logical reason for not being able to do this or any other idea that people present on any threads on this site.

Sparda is right, If there are just 100 items with a glow. . .And 5 colors to pick from then there are 400 (new) items that need to be fixed. I know how to change glows, it's easy. . But to do that in 1 hour would mean 6 images a minute which isn't feasible.

And as stated, the glows have a meaning of rarity.

A few things about this, as stated the glows have certain meanings to them

Also, a lot of content for gameplay is being worked on, I'd rather them continue their work on all the new content, and leave the "pretty" stuff such as this for when it's all released

Anyway changing colors isnt hard, its maybe just timing consuming doing a few colors and a couples clicks for each item image.
